نظّمت الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عُمان (GUtech)، ممثَّلةً بمعهد عُمان للخدمات التدريبية (OITS)، يوم 16 سبتمبر 2026، اليوم التعريفي لبرنامج التدريب المهني على آلات التحكّم الرقمي بالحاسوب (CNC) للطلبة من ذوي طيف التوحّد، بمشاركة ممثلين من وزارة التنمية الاجتماعية وحضور أولياء الأمور.

تضمّن اليوم التعريف بأهداف البرنامج ومساره التدريبي، والقوانين والقواعد العامة، ومناقشة عقد التدريب والإجابة عن استفسارات أولياء الأمور، إلى جانب جولة في مرافق الجامعة وورشها التدريبية.

ويهدف البرنامج إلى تزويد الطلبة بالمهارات المهنية والتطبيقية، وتعزيز جاهزيتهم للاندماج في بيئات العمل وبناء مستقبل مهني أكثر شمولًا واستدامة.

On 16 September 2026, the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech), represented by the Oman Institute for Training Services (OITS), organised an Orientation Day for the CNC Vocational Training Programme for autistic students, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Social Development and the students’ parents.

The event introduced the programme’s objectives, training pathway, general regulations, and training contract. It also included a question-and-answer session for parents and a tour of GUtech’s facilities and training workshops.

The programme aims to equip students with practical vocational skills, strengthen their workplace readiness, and support their inclusion in meaningful employment.

في 8 سبتمبر 2026، استقبلت الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عُمان وفدًا من مقاطعة هاينان بجمهورية الصين الشعبية، برئاسة سعادة باتيير، نائب حاكم مقاطعة هاينان، في مختبر الهيدروجين بالجامعة.

وكان في استقبال الوفد الأستاذ الدكتور مايكل براون، رئيس الجامعة، إلى جانب عدد من أعضاء فريق جيوتك. وأتاحت الزيارة فرصة للتعريف بإمكانات المختبر وتقنياته المبتكرة ومشاريعه الحالية.

كما شكّلت الزيارة فرصة لاستعراض إنجازات جيوتك في تقنيات الهيدروجين، وتقنيات البناء بالطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد، والتطبيقات المبتكرة، إلى جانب تبادل الخبرات وبحث فرص التعاون المستقبلي بين سلطنة عُمان وجمهورية الصين الشعبية.

On 8 September 2026, GUtech was pleased to welcome a delegation from Hainan Province, People’s Republic of China, led by H.E. Batiyer, Vice Governor of Hainan Province, to the New Hydrogen Lab at GUtech.

The delegation was warmly hosted by Prof. Dr. Michael Braun, Rector of GUtech, alongside members of the GUtech team. The visit provided an opportunity to introduce the delegation to the lab’s capabilities, innovative technologies, and ongoing projects.

It was a valuable opportunity to showcase GUtech’s work in hydrogen technologies, 3D-printed building technology, and innovative applications, while exchanging insights and exploring potential opportunities for future collaboration between Oman and China.

استقبلت الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عُمان طلبتها الجدد للعام الأكاديمي 2026/2027 خلال الاسبوع التعريفي، إيذانًا ببدء فصل جديد ومميز في رحلتهم الجامعية.

وتعرّف الطلبة خلال اليوم على البرامج والخدمات الجامعية، والتقوا بأعضاء الهيئة الأكاديمية والمستشارين وزملائهم الجدد، إلى جانب اكتشاف مرافق الحرم الجامعي والتعرف على مجتمع جيوتك.

نتمنى لطلبتنا الجدد رحلة أكاديمية حافلة بالنجاح والإنجازات والذكريات الجميلة.

The German University of Technology in Oman warmly welcomed the new students of the 2026/2027 academic year during Orientation Week, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their university journey.

From discovering our programmes and services to meeting faculty, advisors, and new classmates, the day was all about getting familiar with the GUtech community and campus.

We wish our new students a successful and memorable academic journey ahead.

اختُتمت بنجاح فعاليات أيام التطوير المهني 2026 في الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عُمان، في أجواء ثرية بالحوار وتبادل المعرفة والتعاون البنّاء.

وشهد البرنامج مشاركة زملاء من مختلف أقسام الجامعة في مجموعة متنوعة من الجلسات الاستراتيجية، والتحديثات المؤسسية والأكاديمية، والعروض البحثية، التي تناولت أولويات أكاديمية وإدارية محورية.

وقد أكدت هذه الفعاليات التزام الجامعة بالتطوير المستمر، وتعزيز الشفافية، وترسيخ ثقافة التميز الأكاديمي. نتقدم بخالص الشكر والتقدير لجميع الزملاء على مشاركتهم الفاعلة وإسهاماتهم القيّمة، التي كان لها دور أساسي في إنجاح هذا الحدث السنوي المهم.


The Professional Development Days 2026 at the German University of Technology in Oman concluded successfully, providing a dynamic platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and meaningful collaboration.

Colleagues from across the University took part in a diverse programme of strategic sessions, institutional and academic updates, and research presentations, addressing key academic and administrative priorities.

The programme reaffirmed GUtech’s commitment to continuous development, transparency, and academic excellence. We extend our sincere appreciation to all colleagues for their active participation and valuable contributions, which played an essential role in the success of this important annual event.

شاركت الجامعة الألمانية للتكنولوجيا في عُمان (جيوتك) في منتدى ومعرض صلالة الهندسي، في إطار حرصها على تعزيز حضورها الأكاديمي والبحثي والتعريف ببرامجها ومبادراتها المرتبطة بالابتكار والتكنولوجيا والاستدامة.

وخلال المشاركة، سلطت جيوتك الضوء على دورها الرائد في مجال الهيدروجين والطاقة المستدامة، من خلال مختبر الهيدروجين H2 Lab الذي دشنته الجامعة مؤخرًا، والذي يوفر بيئة تطبيقية للبحث والتجارب والتعاون بين الطلبة والباحثين والقطاع الصناعي.

كما استعرضت الجامعة برنامج ماجستير العلوم في اقتصاد وتكنولوجيا الهيدروجين (MSc in Hydrogen Economy and Technology)، وهو الأول من نوعه في المنطقة، ويجمع بين الجوانب التقنية والاقتصادية للهيدروجين، ويغطي سلسلة القيمة ابتداءً من الإنتاج والتخزين والنقل وصولًا إلى الاستخدام والتطبيقات المختلفة.

وتأتي مشاركة جيوتك تأكيدًا على التزامها بدعم توجهات سلطنة عُمان نحو التحول للطاقة النظيفة، وتنمية الكفاءات الوطنية، وتعزيز البحث والابتكار في قطاع الهيدروجين بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية عُمان 2040.

The German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) participated in the Salalah Engineering Forum & Exhibition, highlighting its academic and research contributions in innovation, technology, sustainability, and future energy solutions.

During the event, GUtech showcased its growing role in the field of hydrogen and sustainable energy, including its recently inaugurated H2 Lab, which provides a practical environment for research, experimentation, and collaboration between students, researchers, and industry.

The University also highlighted its MSc in Hydrogen Economy and Technology, the first programme of its kind in the region, combining both the technical and economic aspects of hydrogen and covering the full hydrogen value chain, from production and storage to transportation and end-use applications.

GUtech’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting Oman’s transition towards clean energy, developing national capabilities, and advancing research and innovation in the hydrogen sector in line with Oman Vision 2040.
