We congratulate Salim Al Kamyani on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE).
This appointment builds on more than 22 years of executive leadership experience across strategic sectors, where he has led multiple organisational transformation programmes and advanced operational excellence across several strategic sectors.

We wish him every success in his new role as he leads OQAE’s continued growth, expands renewable energy solutions and supports Oman’s energy transition, contributing to creating long-term value for the Group and Oman.

وخلال مشاركته في جلسة "الرؤية والقيادة في قطاع الطاقة والمعادن" ضمن الملتقى الإعلامي لقطاعات الطاقة والمعادن 2026، استعرض أشرف بن حمد المعمري، الرئيس التنفيذي للمجموعة، رؤية أوكيو للاستثمار المنضبط وتحقيق النمو المستدام وتعظيم القيمة من الموارد الطبيعية في سلطنة عُمان. كما أكد مواصلة المجموعة الاستثمار في فرص النمو المستقبلية، ودعم مسار التحول نحو الطاقة المتجددة، وتعزيز المحتوى المحلي، وبناء شراكات إستراتيجية تسهم في تحقيق ازدهار اقتصادي مستدام.

OQ continues to create long-term value by investing responsibly in future industries, expanding its integrated energy portfolio and developing industries that strengthen Oman’s economy.

During the "Vision and Leadership in the Energy and Minerals Sector" session at the Media Forum for the Energy and Minerals Sectors 2026, Ashraf Hamed Al Mamari, Group Chief Executive Officer of OQ, shared the Group's vision for disciplined investment, sustainable growth and creating greater value from Oman’s natural resources. He highlighted OQ's continued focus on investing in future growth opportunities, advancing the energy transition, strengthening local content and building strategic partnerships that support long-term national prosperity.

تعتز أوكيو بالحصول على بطاقة التميّز الضريبي من جهاز الضرائب، تقديرًا لالتزامها بأفضل ممارسات الحوكمة الضريبية، وتعزيز الشفافية، وترسيخ ثقافة الامتثال المسؤول.

OQ has been awarded the Tax Excellence Card by Oman's Tax Authority in recognition of its commitment to tax governance, transparency and responsible compliance.

The recognition extends across the Group, with OMIFCO and Sohar Aluminum (SAC) also receiving the Tax Excellence Card, reflecting a shared commitment to maintaining the highest standards of governance and accountability.

This achievement reinforces our approach to conducting business responsibly, strengthening trust, and creating sustainable value for Oman.

Congratulations to OQ Refineries and Petroleum Industries (OQRPI) on earning two international recognitions at the 2026 RoSPA Health and Safety Awards. The company was awarded the RoSPA Gold Award for the second consecutive year and the RoSPA Fleet Safety Award for the first time.

These awards recognise our focus on protecting our people and upholding the highest health and safety standards across our operations. They reflect a culture where safety remains at the heart of every decision.

قدّمت أوكيو برنامج "خطوات"، أحد برامج الاستثمار الاجتماعي، والذي استهدف طلبة المدارس من الصف الأول إلى الصف العاشر، مقدمًا لهم تجارب عملية أسهمت في بناء شخصياتهم وتنمية مهاراتهم القيادية والحياتية.

OQ delivered STEPS, one of its signature social investment programmes, for students from grades one to ten, providing practical experiences that helped build character and develop leadership and life skills.

While this journey has come to a close, the impact of STEPS continues through the participants, who will carry forward the knowledge and skills they have gained to make a positive contribution to their communities.

OQ remains committed to creating meaningful opportunities for future generations, believing that investing in young people today helps build stronger communities and a more prosperous future.

In just three years, OQ has brought five national assets to the public market, raising OMR 1.61 billion, attracting more than 415,000 retail subscriptions and growing its listed companies to represent around 36% of the Muscat Stock Exchange’s market capitalisation.

This journey has strengthened OQ’s role as a catalyst for Oman’s capital market development, widened participation in the ownership of companies at the heart of the energy and industrial value chain, and translated the strength of its integrated portfolio into shared value for shareholders, the market and the national economy.

With OMIFCO’s listing, OQ’s IPO journey reaches its fifth milestone, adding a major industrial asset linked to food security and global value chains, while reinforcing the role of national assets in deepening the market, broadening investment opportunity and supporting sustainable economic growth.

From Abraj to OMIFCO, OQ’s IPO journey sets a new benchmark for what well-structured listings can deliver for the Muscat Stock Exchange and the national economy.
