This week’s Coffee with the MD featured Fazal ur Rehman, whose journey with CONNECT spans more than 15 years.

Fazal joined CONNECT in 2011 as Finance Manager and progressed to Head of Finance, HR & Administration in 2024. Throughout his time with the business, he has played an important role in strengthening financial processes, driving measurable improvements and supporting CONNECT’s continued growth.

His contribution has also been instrumental in supporting the financial framework behind some of CONNECT’s strongest business performance to date.

Last week, Ahmed Al Jardani joined the latest Coffee with the MD session, Now in his 11th year with CONNECT, Ahmed’s journey has taken him from administration to Operations and Marketing, building valuable experience across different areas of the business.

As his next step, Ahmed will soon move into a newly created cross-functional role, supporting HubSpot best practice across Marketing and Commercial while also contributing to new Operations initiatives.

Coffee with the MD continues to create space for open conversations around individual ambitions, professional development and how these can align with CONNECT’s evolving business needs.

Our latest Coffee with MD catch-up featured one of the newest members of Team CONNECT, Sherihaan, who joined us just over two weeks ago as an Events Manager.

Last week, Team CONNECT attended the Middle East Event Awards in Dubai, where we were proud to be shortlisted in two categories:

While we didn’t take home an award this time, being recognised alongside some of the region’s leading event organisations is an achievement we’re incredibly proud of.

The nominations reflect the hard work, creativity and commitment of our entire team, and they motivate us to keep raising the bar, creating impactful events and building a workplace we can all be proud of.
