DaVinci Resolve 21.0.4 is now available. This update adds the ability to relink proxy clips with different file extensions, as DaVinci now searches by clip name, making relinking clips easier and more flexible. Camera support has also been further expanded with support for importing additional X-OCN video formats.

The update also allows API scripting support so that precise clips can be found quickly on the timeline. This means that script or workflow integration writers can now more easily find and modify exactly the clip they are working on.

Also in this update, when applying clip filters to isolate specific clips on the Color page, the selected clip remains in view. Now when colorists apply clip filters, the selected clip will automatically scroll to keep the clip in view, saving time as they don’t have to shuttle forward or backward on the timeline. Plus there is also improved realtime playback on timelines with a large cache.

Completing the family, UltraStudio Mini Replay 12G supports both capture and playback with dual independent 12G-SDI fill and key outputs, plus a dedicated 12G-SDI monitoring output, and supports live action replay features in DaVinci Resolve.
