Sumaq Rugs was started by Collis Verdicchio and Derek Beech, when after years of travelling throughout South America found a way to combine their interest in design and travel with their passion for business.

All our Flat Weaves are handmade using Alpaca,
Llama or Highland Wool. Our weavers follow the ancient Flat Weave techniques from the Inca Civilization. Producing double-woven and double-faced rugs, which give a strikingly different design on each side, so in essence you get two
rugs in one.
