“EFM Staff undergoes Client Service &Time Management Training”

On Saturday 8th of August, about twenty EFM staff successfully completed the Client Service and Time Management courses. The training was facilitated by one of our long-standing contract facilitator, Sony McWilliams.

Sony highlighted how staff client service and time management skills can have a profound effect towards our staff’s professional career, EFM’s business operations, our customers, clients and partners.
Trainees were engaged in interactive discussions on real-world scenarios encountered in the workplace where client service and time management is fitting for optimized operations.

Client service and time management trainings remain as one of the key courses the company provides for efficient and quality service to all our clients.

“EFM takes onboard another TAFE intern”

Express Freight Management continues to facilitate IEA College of TAFE students with avenue for on-the-job training internships.
On Monday 3rd August, we welcome onboard the second TAFE student trainee for this year.
Daniel Pavuo will be attached with our ICT Team for two months, learning and assisting in help desk duties. Providing real-time ICT support, answering queries, and resolving technical issues for the staff and EFM as a whole.
After completing on-the-job training, Daniel will have real industry work experience and ICT technical skills gained with EFM for a successful career going forward.

“EFM Farewells TAFE Student Trainee”

Express Freight Management continues to mentor IEA College of TAFE students for their On-the-Job training programs.

EFM is happy to host Esther Lua who have joined us at Lae office for her 8 weeks OJT program with our ICT Department. During OJT program with us, she has gained hands- on experience in learning a lot of new technical skills. Esther appreciated the opportunity to be expose to a professional working environment.

On Friday 12th June, during her farewell with ICT Team, our Lae Branch Manager, George Savitski acknowledged Esther for her input towards EFM. And on behalf of the ICT team, he wished Esther the best in her journey, as she grows in her field with the experience gained from the company.

Express Freight Management Renews Sponsorship for EFM Kamkumung Crushers

We are so thrilled and proud to announce, Express Freight Management (EFM) has reaffirmed its strong commitment to Lae’s Rugby League by continuing as the official sponsor of EFM Kamkumung Crushers since 2022. This year, we have renewed our support with another sponsorship such as the new player jerseys, training kits, and both club and players registration fees.

EFM Lae Branch Manager George Savitski officially presented the new jerseys to the club, acknowledging the positive involvement of young people in sports, particularly rugby league. He emphasized EFM’s strong interest and ongoing support for rugby in Lae. On behalf of EFM management, Mr. Savitski affirmed that the company will continue to support the club and expressed confidence in the team’s ability to defend their reigning title this season.

Head Coach Mark Mexico expressed his deep appreciation to Express Freight Management for their continued and timely support, acknowledging the company for honoring the team’s sponsorship request. He extended special thanks to EFM owners Bob Howden and Richard Howden, along with the management team, for their unwavering commitment.

Express Freight Management Support Deliveries of Buk Bilong Pikinini Supplies.

Express Freight Management has proudly served as a Platinum Partner for Buk Bilong Pikinini for over a decade, providing dedicated logistics support to assist with the distribution of early learning and reading supplies across Papua New Guinea.
We are extremely grateful to announce that early last week, we successfully completed the delivery of Buk Bilong Pikinini supplies to their Lae centres. Ensuring resources arrived right on time as Term 2 commenced. The deliveries were met with strong appreciation from the officers in charge at each location, University of Technology, St Stevens 3 Mile and Lae Showground.
For many years, EFM has worked alongside Buk Bilong Pikinini to help strengthen literacy and learning foundations for young children throughout PNG. The Buk Bilong Pikinini Programs Team Lead Mr. Martin Yawajeyana expressed his deep gratitude to EFM for delivering and of how valuable and timely this support is, as it will greatly assist their teachers in delivering the program effectively
