Sa paggunita ng National Heroes Day 2026, buong pagpupugay nating inaalala ang katapangan, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng ating mga pambansang bayani na nagsilbing inspirasyon sa bawat Pilipino.

Nawa'y magsilbi itong paalala na ang tunay na kabayanihan ay naipapakita hindi lamang sa panahon ng pakikibaka, kundi sa araw-araw na tapat na paglilingkod, pagkakaisa, at malasakit sa kapwa at sa ating pamayanan.

Mula sa DILG Angat, taus-puso naming binibigyang-pugay ang lahat ng mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa kalayaan ng ating bansa, gayundin ang mga makabagong bayani na patuloy na naglilingkod nang may integridad at dedikasyon.

Promoting a Drug-Free Workplace

The Municipality of Angat, Bulacan successfully conducted the Orientation on Drug-Free Workplace Policy for Elected Officials and Municipal Employees of Angat on August 17, 2026, at the Municipal Conference Hall, New Municipal Building, Angat, Bulacan.

The activity aimed to strengthen awareness and understanding of the Drug-Free Workplace Policy, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a safe, healthy, productive, and drug-free working environment in the local government.

Through continuous education, prevention, and active participation, the Municipality of Angat remains committed to promoting a workplace that upholds integrity, responsibility, and a strong stand against illegal drugs.

Strengthening Drug-Cleared Communities

The Municipality of Angat, Bulacan, through the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), participated in the Plenary Watching of the “Deliberation for the Retention of Drug-Cleared Barangays of Angat, Bulacan” conducted via Zoom by the Regional Oversight Committee on Barangay Drug Clearing (ROCBDC) on August 5, 2026 at the Municipal Conference Room, New Angat Municipal Building, San Roque, Angat, Bulacan.

The activity was attended by representatives from the Municipal Government, MADAC, PNP, DILG, Mayor’s Office, and the Punong Barangays and Barangay Secretaries of 14 barangays of Angat, who actively participated in the deliberation process.

This initiative reflects the Municipality’s continued commitment to sustaining a drug-cleared and drug-free community through strengthened barangay-level implementation, monitoring, coordination, and collective action.
