This serve as the initial qualifying phase where winning student-athletes advance to higher tiers like Unit, Congressional District, or City/Provincial Meets before heading to regional and national championships (such as the Palarong Pambansa).

Core Science Academy is one with the nation in celebrating National Heroes Day 2026 today Monday, the 31st of August 2026. It commemorates all known and unsung Filipino heroes who fought for the country's freedom and nation-building, as well as modern-day heroes like frontliners, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), farmers, and laborers.

The assassination of Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. on August 21, 1983, is widely recognized as the pivotal watershed moment in modern Philippine history. Shot on the tarmac of the Manila International Airport upon returning from exile, his martyrdom shattered the aura of invincibility surrounding the dictatorial regime of President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., fundamentally altering the country's political trajectory by being the Catalyst for the People Power Revolution in 1986, which unified a fractured opposition and exposed to the world regime impunity and economic collapse of our country.
