𝑯𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑳𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻𝑺: 𝑺𝑬𝑨𝑺 𝑶𝑵 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑮𝑶! 🍫

As we move closer to finals season, here’s a look back at last Monday’s Champorado that gave everyone a much-needed break after midterms!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a bowl with friends, and took a quick breather from the usual academic grind. We hope the little treat made your busy week just a bit more comfortable!

From one busy week to the next, we’ll keep finding little ways to make campus life a little more enjoyable 😋

Not every cry for help sounds like one. Some arrive as unanswered messages, sudden goodbyes, quiet withdrawals, or a person who simply does not seem like themselves anymore.

This Su***de Prevention Month, let care be deliberate. Notice what has changed. Ask the question that feels difficult to ask. Listen without rushing to fix. And when the conversation ends, do not let your concern end with it.

You may never know how much a moment of being seen can mean to someone who feels invisible!

Stay long enough to notice. Care enough to ask. Be present enough to make a difference.

After extensive investigation and an alarming amount of cuteness, Togepi has officially accepted the position of Chief Financial Egg-visor!

Its mission? Protect the PokéCoins. Hunt down discrepancies. And, naturally, celebrate another year of gaining EXP! 🎉

To our beloved Finance & Auditing Head, may your receipts never go missing and your year be filled with nothing but critical hits, lucky rolls, and positive balances.

Happy Birthday, Maxy! 💗✨

Every time a typhoon or days of heavy rain hit, the same communities are left dealing with the consequences. Families evacuate with whatever they can carry. Workers lose income because they cannot get to work. Students miss classes. Farmers lose crops. Small businesses close. Homes are damaged, sometimes beyond repair. And in the middle of all of this, people die.

This is not a new problem. Communities have been flooding for years, and people already know which roads become impassable, which neighborhoods go vulnerable, and which families are forced to evacuate. We cannot keep acting surprised every time it happens. If these risks are already known, then prevention should have been planned long before the water reached people’s homes.

Billions of pesos in public funds are allocated for flood control, yet people are still asking why they are left wading through floodwater every time severe weather arrives. A project should not be considered successful simply because it was funded, constructed, or reported as completed. Kung bilyon ang binigay, dapat ramdam ng tao ang proteksyong kapalit nito.

And when that protection is nowhere to be found, the public deserves answers.

The SEAS Student Council stands with Bulacan, Pampanga, and communities across Central Luzon that continue to bear the weight of recurring floods.

This season has asked a little more from all of us, and now, as midterms arrive, we hope you give yourself the same patience and grace you give to others.

May your preparation meet you where you are, may your mind feel a little lighter when you need it most, and may the work you’ve managed to put in be enough to carry you through 🫂

And if you find yourself staring at a question thinking, “𝙒𝙖𝙞𝙩… 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙢 𝙠𝙤 '𝙩𝙤,” —may your brain remember exactly when you studied it! 🙏

One exam at a time. You’ve got this 🙌

With love,

𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑮𝑬𝑻𝑺 𝑻𝑶 𝑩𝑬 𝑪𝑨𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑫 𝑨 𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑶?

Today, we remember the Filipino heroes who gave their courage, their voices, and, for many, their very lives in the hope of a freer and better nation.

Their stories remind us that the Philippines we know today was not simply given to us. It was shaped by people who questioned, resisted, served, and believed that their country could become more.

And perhaps that is why remembering them still matters.

May we honor our heroes not only by remembering their names, but by understanding the principles behind their sacrifices and living them in our own time.

Their chapter may be history.
But their legacy is still ours to uphold.
