Pursuant to the announcement of Hon. Albert D. Palencia, Municipal Mayor of Banga, classes at all levels in both public and private schools are suspended today, Friday, July 10, 2026, due to the continuous unfavorable weather conditions brought about by Typhoon Inday (Bavi).

All students, parents, teachers, and school personnel are advised to prioritize their safety and continue monitoring official advisories for further updates.

After careful assessment of the situation and considering the safety of our learners and personnel, classes and school activities shall continue as scheduled.

All learners are encouraged to attend classes, while parents and guardians are advised to remind their children to observe safety measures and remain alert at all times.

In compliance with the directive of the Municipal Mayor of Banga, Hon. Albert D. Palencia, and due to the continuous aftershocks being experienced in the municipality, classes in all levels, both public and private schools, shall remain SUSPENDED on:

This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners, school personnel, and parents.

Everyone is advised to remain vigilant, observe safety precautions, and strictly follow the guidelines issued by the local authorities and disaster response agencies.

📚✨ BANGA NORTH DISTRICT SECOND LEARNING ACTION CELL (LAC) SESSION CUM TEACHERS' MEETING 2026 ✨📚

June 5, 2026 marked the successful conduct of the Banga North District Second Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session Cum Teachers' Meeting 2026 held at Purok Reyes Central Elementary School Gymnasium. This activity also served as the first day of duty for School Year 2026–2027, bringing together all Banga North Elementary School teachers in a meaningful learning and planning session.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Maria Vilma H. Somodio, Principal III, Principal-In-Charge, and attended by teachers from the different elementary schools in the district, including the faculty of Kusan Elementary School, headed by Sir Randy D. Contang, School Principal I.

The Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session provided an avenue for educators to strengthen professional collaboration, align instructional practices, and prepare for the effective implementation of programs and initiatives for the new school year. Topics discussed included lesson planning, delivery and assessment, RPMS/PPST alignment, Brigada Eskwela guidelines, the ARAL Program, and learning reform policies for School Year 2026–2027.

Among the resource speakers were Ma'am Generose D. Espia, MT-II, who shared her expertise on RPMS/PPST Alignment for Teachers, and Sir Randy D. Contang, Principal I, who discussed Learning Reform Policies for School Year 2026–2027. Their valuable insights inspired participants to continuously improve their teaching practices and uphold quality education for all learners.

The activity concluded with a collaborative planning session, allowing teachers to develop strategies and plans that will contribute to a productive and successful school year. The gathering reaffirmed the commitment of Banga North Elementary School teachers to excellence, innovation, teamwork, and learner-centered education.

As we embark on another academic year, may the knowledge gained and partnerships strengthened during this session guide us in creating meaningful learning experiences for every child.

Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman

Kusan Elementary School successfully conducted Brigada Eskwela 2026 from June 1–5, 2026, through the collective efforts of KES teachers and staff, parents, volunteers, and community stakeholders. Together, they joined forces in cleaning, repairing, and preparing the school facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for all learners.

This spirit of bayanihan reflects the community's commitment to supporting education and helping the school get ready for the opening of classes on June 8, 2026.

The activity was led and coordinated by Ma'am Arlyn Asiman, School Brigada Coordinator, under the guidance and support of Randy D. Contang, School Principal I, whose leadership contributed to the successful implementation of the program.

🎉📚 ARAL SUMMER PROGRAM CULMINATION S.Y. 2026–2027 📚🎉

June 2, 2026 marked the successful culmination of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Summer Program of Kusan Elementary School for School Year 2026–2027.

This special event celebrated the achievements and progress of our learners who actively participated in the program. Through their determination, hard work, and commitment to learning, they were able to enhance their academic skills and gain confidence in their educational journey.

🏅 Giving of Certificates, Medals, School Supplies, and Free Merienda

Certificates and medals were awarded to participating pupils in recognition of their dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments throughout the ARAL Summer Program. School supplies were also distributed to support their continued learning and academic growth. Throughout the program, learners were provided with free merienda, helping them stay energized and motivated during their learning sessions. Likewise, certificates of appreciation were presented to our committed ARAL Tutors for their invaluable service, patience, and dedication in guiding our learners toward success.

The successful implementation of the program was made possible through the leadership and dedication of Ma'am Generose D. Espia, MT-II, ARAL Focal Person, together with Ma'am Arlyn B. Asiman, School CRLA Coordinator, Aireene E. Bonita, School Reading Coordinator, and Randy D. Contang, P-I, whose efforts greatly contributed to the learning and development of our pupils.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to all individuals, partners, stakeholders, parents of our pupils, and sponsors whose unwavering support and generosity contributed to the success of the program. Kusan Elementary School proudly congratulates the KUSAN TEAM for their outstanding performance at the National Robotics Competition 2025, held at the Polomolok Municipal Gymnasium on October 18, 2025! 🏆

The team earned an impressive 4th Place in the Line Tracing - Beginner Elementary category — a remarkable display of creativity, teamwork, and innovation in the field of robotics.

👏 Our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Harold Mallo, Trainer and Programmer/Designer of the robot used during the competition, from Lake Sebu National High School, for his exceptional expertise and guidance; and to our dedicated coaches, Ms. Nikki Mallo and Ms. Generose Espia, for their unwavering support and encouragement.
