Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and direct supervision of 𝑭𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑵𝑶𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑩𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑺, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Provincial Fire Marshal, Catanduanes, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶3 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒔 𝑺 𝑻𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒐, Officer-in-Charge,the personnel of BFP Baras Fire Station safely transported a 19-year-old pregnant female patient in labor from Baras,Catanduanes to Virac Eastern Bicol Medical Center for immediate medical attention.

This activity reflects the Bureau of Fire Protection's unwavering commitment to providing timely emergency medical services and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community through fast, efficient, and compassionate public service.

Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and direct supervision of 𝑭𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑵𝑶𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑩𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑺, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Provincial Fire Marshal, Catanduanes, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶3 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒔 𝑺 𝑻𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒐, Officer-in-Charge, deployed its Fire Suppression Team and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel to provide standby assistance during the 𝐑𝐔𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐅𝐔𝐍 𝐑𝐔𝐍.

Throughout the event, BFP Baras remained on full alert, ready to respond promptly to any fire, medical, or emergency incident that may arise. The deployment aimed to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, organizers, and spectators while promoting a secure and successful community activity.

The two-day activity facilitated by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Region V focused on reviewing, updating, and enhancing existing contingency plans to ensure they remain responsive to current risks, emerging hazards, and the evolving needs of the community. It also fostered stronger coordination and collaboration among participating agencies, promoting a unified and well-coordinated approach to disaster risk reduction and emergency management.
