Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and under the direct supervision of 𝑭𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑪 𝑨 𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑴𝑶𝑨𝑵, 𝑴𝑷𝑨, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, Catanduanes, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-in-Charge, Baras Fire Station reminds everyone to be prepared, stay safe and know what to do in case of fire.

Ang sunog ay maaaring mangyari anumang oras at maaaring mabilis na lumaki kapag hindi agad nakontrol. Sa ganitong sitwasyon, mahalaga na may alam, alerto, at kumilos nang mabilis upang maprotektahan hindi lang ang sarili, kundi pati na ang mga taong nasa paligid at mga ari-arian.

Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and under the direct supervision of 𝑭𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑪 𝑨 𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑴𝑶𝑨𝑵, 𝑴𝑷𝑨, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, Catanduanes, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-in-Charge, BFP Baras personnel played Tumbang Preso as part of the station’s continuing Health and Wellness Activity, promoting physical fitness, active recreation, teamwork, and camaraderie among personnel.
The activity provided an opportunity for personnel to stay physically active while strengthening teamwork and fostering a positive and healthy workplace environment.

OIC-BFP ADDRESSES ATTACK ON FIREFIGHTER DURING FIRE RESPONSE
The BFP strongly condemns the attack against a responding firefighter during a fire incident in Brgy. Bangate, Barcelona, Sorsogon, on September 27, 2026.
While preparing for overhaul operations, FO2 Kris Ann G Conda was suddenly attacked by the owner of the house using a bolo-like weapon, sustaining multiple lacerations on her left lower back. She was immediately provided first aid and transported to the nearest hospital for medical attention.
The BFP assures its personnel of its continued support and protection as they carry out their duty to save lives and protect property. FCSUPT Wilberto Rico Neil A Kwan Tiu also emphasizes that acts of violence against firefighters responding to emergencies will not be tolerated and urges the public to respect and cooperate with firefighters in the performance of their duties

Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and under the direct supervision of 𝑭𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑪 𝑨 𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑴𝑶𝑨𝑵, 𝑴𝑷𝑨, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, Catanduanes, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-in-Charge, an Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Program through a Facebook Live session was conducted by FO1 Ma. Rossette R Bellen, Chief, Publication Information Officer, together with FO1 Michael John A Tud, focusing on “Fire Safety Myths and Facts”. The activity aimed to provide the public with accurate and practical information on fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and appropriate actions during fire-related incidents.

The session emphasized the importance of verifying information and following proper fire safety practices to prevent accidents and minimize the risk of injury, loss of life, and property damage. The discussion also highlighted the importance of immediately calling the appropriate emergency hotline and evacuating to a safe location when necessary.

Through Mdrrmo Baras Catanduanes and its facebook live platform, the BFP Baras Fire Station was able to reach members of the community and promote greater awareness of fire prevention and preparedness. The activity also encouraged the public to actively participate in fire safety initiatives and share verified safety information with their families, friends, and community members.

Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and under the direct supervision of 𝑭𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑺𝑷 𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑪 𝑨 𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑴𝑶𝑨𝑵, 𝑴𝑷𝑨, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, Catanduanes, headed by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-in-Charge, conducted its regular Monday Flag-Raising Ceremony, followed by a Troop, Information, and Education (TI&E) Session aimed to strengtheni the knowledge and skills of its personnel.

During the session, FO1 Aljon T. Abainza, Chief, EMS, discussed the Patient Care Report (PCR) Form and Emergency Medical Response, highlighting the importance of proper documentation, accurate patient assessment, and appropriate response during medical emergencies.

The session provided personnel with essential knowledge to enhance their preparedness and effectiveness in providing timely, organized, and responsive emergency medical assistance to the community.
