The 𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗝𝗜𝗟𝗖𝗙 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 embarks on another meaningful journey as its student leaders take part in the 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗜𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵-𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 alongside fellow leaders from various college organizations. Held on September 30, 2026, at the JILCF Old Prayer Garden, the ceremony recognized their unwavering commitment, dedicated service, and valuable contributions to the student community.

🏗️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀!

The MIDAS Modeling Challenge 2026 brought together our BSCE 4th Year students in a challenging test of structural modeling, analysis, precision, and engineering knowledge. Through MIDAS Gen, participants put classroom theories into practice by modeling and analyzing a multi-story reinforced concrete structure under real-world design conditions. ⚙️

More than a competition, the event was an opportunity to sharpen technical skills, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and experience the evolving world of digital structural engineering.

This year's symposium, themed around 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴, tackled a wide range of topics from — "𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀" to "𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻" alongside 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and an 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸. The event also featured a job fair, where different companies introduced their programs, career opportunities, and what they look for in future engineers. Joining us were students and organizations from different schools across the country, making the symposium a truly enriching experience of learning, networking, and camaraderie.
