The Polytechnic College of Botolan once again marked an impressive achievement in the recently concluded Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) – Elementary, posting a 76.74% overall passing rate, significantly higher than the national passing rate of 56.03%.

Based on the released examination results, the institution recorded an outstanding 84.38% passing rate among first-time takers, reflecting the college’s continued commitment to academic excellence and quality teacher education. Meanwhile, repeaters also demonstrated commendable performance with a 54.55% passing rate, further contributing to the school’s overall success in the licensure examination.

For the second consecutive year, the Polytechnic College of Botolan proudly earns global recognition in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).

After making its mark in WURI 2025 with the AyTambayan: Tambay Moyo, Kinabukasan Ko” (Adopt-an-Indigenous Peoples (IP) Student Program), which ranked 56th under the A1: Student Support and Engagement Category, 𝗣𝗖𝗕 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗨𝗥𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿 (𝟰) 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀:

Through these achievements, PCB once again joins the ranks of globally innovative universities recognized for their real-world impact, alongside top institutions worldwide such as Polytechnic University of the Philippines, FEU Institute of Technology, Minerva University, Hanseo University, and Tongmyong University. These recognitions reflect PCB’s mission of creating inclusive, innovative, and sustainable programs that transform lives, strengthen communities, and contribute to global development goals.

This milestone is the fruit of weeks of rigorous preparation—from planning and consultations to writing, editing, and proofreading—spearheaded by the Internationalization Office, under the guidance of our College President Dr. Mary Grace S. Manangan and School Administrator Dr. Joy P. Cortez, with the invaluable support of the dedicated faculty members of the Institute of Computing Studies and the Institute of Education, together with our hardworking non-teaching personnel.

To our faculty, staff, students, partners, alumni, and stakeholders—thank you for being part of this journey of excellence. Together, we continue to bring pride to our community on the global stage!
