Last August 27, 2026, right here at the University of Rizal System Cainta Campus, The Spectrum Organization 2026–2027 held our Dagliang Talumpati, where brave souls stepped forward to speak their hearts out. They shared pieces of who they are their truths, their struggles, their pride, and their journey all in their own words, in our own language, without fear of being seen or heard. It was more than just a contest; it was a safe space where every voice mattered, every story was honored, and every person was accepted exactly as they are.

We are so incredibly proud to announce and congratulate our winners for bearing their souls with such grace and courage. You reminded us all that no matter who we are, what we speak, or how we identify our voice is our greatest power. Thank you for showing up authentically, for lifting one another up, and for proving that real connection happens when we dare to be fully ourselves. You are all champions of truth, identity, and courage.

​Heroism isn't just bound to history books or battlefield monuments. It lives on in every student standing up for truth, every leader serving with integrity, and every individual working toward a more inclusive, progressive society. Let us continue to draw inspiration from our national heroes to build a future defined by courage, unity, and purpose. ✊🔥

And just like that, our SB Merchant booth has officially wrapped up! 🏳️‍🌈✨ It feels so good to look back now that everything’s done all the time we spent planning, arranging every little thing, and getting the booth ready really paid off. From the display we set up to every item we prepared with care, we put our whole hearts into building this booth.

We had pins, stickers, and Canva Pro access ready for everyone who came by but beyond the items we offered, this booth was always more than just that. It was a space where anyone could stop by, feel welcome, and be fully accepted for who they are. We carried our theme close to our hearts: “Sining ng pagkakakilanlan: Ako, Wikang Filipino, at ang Tinig ng LGBTQIA+ sa Makabagong Panahon”, and we wanted every visitor to truly feel that that our identity, our language, and our voices matter, and they deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Thank you so much to everyone who dropped by, got our pins or stickers, availed of Canva Pro, or simply showed their support. Every bit of kindness meant so much. Seeing the booth come to life and serve its purpose that’s the best reward we could ever ask for. Here’s to creating more spaces like this, where everyone can truly belong and be proud of exactly who they are!

In preparation for and solidarity with the upcoming Buwan ng Wika (National Language Month), Get ready as The Spectrum Organization presents this year’s Impromptu Speaking Competition (Dagliang Talumpati).
​Theme: "Sining ng Pagkakakilanlan: AI, Wikang Filipino, at ang Tinig ng LGBTQ+ sa Makabagong Pananaliksik" (Art of Identity: AI, Filipino Language, and the Voice of the LGBTQ+ in Modern Research)

​When: August 20, 2026
​Venue: URS-Cainta Campus, Ground Floor

​Mechanics:
* The activity is open to all URS–Cainta students.
* Each class must have at least one (1) representative.
* Members of the Spectrum Organization are required to participate as part of the activity.
