𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗻-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗭𝗢𝗡|| Dalawampu’t limang (25) mag-aaral sa ika-5 hanggang ika-6 na baitang mula sa iba’t ibang paaralan sa CALABARZON ang lumahok sa Regional On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest 2026 na isinagawa ng Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Information Section (RAFIS) noong ika-24 ng Setyembre sa Lipa City, Batangas.

Itinanghal na 1st Place si Eryn Jane Teano mula sa Trece Martires, Cavite. Sinundan naman ito nina Althea Colleen Villaresis ng Naic, Cavite (2nd Place) at Felicia Isabella Macaraeg ng Rosario, Cavite (3rd Place).

Taunang nagdadaos ng kompetisyong ito sa pagtutulungan ng Kagawaran ng Pagsasaka, Kagawaran ng Edukasyon, at Food and Agriculture Organization ng United Nations para sa selebrasyon ng World Food Day tuwing Oktubre. Layon ng kolaborasyon na ito na sa pamamagitan ng sining ay mapagtibay ng pamahalaan ang pakikiayon ng mga kabataan sa pagpapakilala at pagpapalakas ng sektor ng agrikultura gamit ang inobasyon patungo sa ligtas, masustansya at sapat na pagkain para sa lahat.

GENERAL TRIAS CITY | September 24, 2026 — The Schools Division of General Trias, together with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of General Trias, participated in the Ceremonial MOA Signing for the PAGCOR School Building Project held at the PAGCOR Corporate Office.

The partnership underscores the shared commitment of DepEd and the LGU to strengthen support for the provision of safe, conducive, and learner-centered school facilities, contributing to a better learning environment for the children of General Trias.

The initiative reflects the continuing collaboration among government partners in advancing education infrastructure and ensuring that learners are provided with facilities that support quality and accessible education.

The Philippine National Police – Police Regional Office 4A (PNP PRO 4A) officially launched the “B.E.S.T. School Alert and Rapid Response System” on September 24, with Regional Director Carlito D. Rocafort of the Department of Education (DepEd) CALABARZON serving as Guest of Honor and Speaker at the PRO 4A Covered Court, Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.

This initiative, led by PNP PRO 4A, is designed to strengthen school safety and emergency preparedness by enhancing coordination among government agencies, LGUs, schools, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting and rapid response to school-related emergencies that protect learners, teachers, and communities. The event featured a PNP demonstration on rapid response to school emergencies and incidents, showcasing the system’s practical application in readiness and coordination during critical situations, and highlighted its highly technical design that allows easy access and streamlined reporting within the alert system.

RD Rocafort delivered an inspirational message, underscoring DepEd CALABARZON’s commitment to fostering safe and resilient learning environments. He also joined fellow regional directors from CHED, DICT, TESDA, DILG, BFP, and other partner agencies in the Commitment Signing Ceremony, symbolizing unified support for this milestone program. A plaque and memento were presented to RD Rocafort by PBGEN Dominic L. Baccay, Regional Director of PRO 4A, together with the Command Group.

This milestone underscores the strong partnership between DepEd CALABARZON and PRO 4A in advancing school safety and preparedness across the region.

Bilang pagtupad sa mandato at pangakong bigyang proteksiyon, siguraduhin ang seguridad ng mga kabataang mag-aaral at magbigay ng mabilis na serbisyong nararamdaman sa buong rehiyon ng Calabarzon, opisyal nang inilunsad ng PNP Police Regional Office 4A ang B.E.S.T. School Alert and Rapid Response System ngayong Huwebes, Setyembre 24.

Pinangunahan ni PRO Calabarzon Regional Director Police Brigadier General Dominic Baccay ang paglulunsad ng bagong mobile application sa rehiyon, kasama ang ilang mga ahensya ng pamahalaan tulad ng Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED) National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Technical Education and Skills Development and Authority (TESDA), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), at Parents-Teachers Association.

Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin ni PBGen. Baccay ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaroon ng ganitong mobile application upang matiyak na ang mga kapulisan ay makatatanggap ng tama at beripikadong impormasyon ukol sa mga insidenteng nagaganap sa mga paaralan na nangangailangan ng agarang aksyon at pagresponde tulad ng active shooting incidents, armed riots, at iba pa.

Naniniwala siya na ang mga paaralan ay dapat maging ligtas na lugar para sa pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral, hindi lamang para sa kanilang kinabukasan kundi maging para sa kinabukasan ng ating bansa.

Nagsilbi naman bilang panauhing pandangal si DepEd R-4A Calabarzon Regional Director Carlito Rocafort, na nagpahayag ng pasasalamat sa PRO Calabarzon para sa naturang inobasyon na inaasahang higit pang magpapaigting sa seguridad at kaligtasan ng mga paaralan sa buong rehiyon.

Aniya, ikinagagalak ng DepEd Region IV-A ang pagkakaroon ng ganitong inisyatibo mula sa kapulisan, na magsisilbing isa sa mga hakbang tungo sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at kaligtasan sa mga paaralan, gayundin sa pagbawas ng takot at pangamba ng mga magulang hinggil sa kaligtasan ng kanilang mga anak.

Ang B.E.S.T. School Alert and Rapid Response System ay isang one-tap o swipe mobile application na binuo ng kapulisan sa Calabarzon. Tanging mga piling indibidwal at kawani ng paaralan, tulad ng mga principal, g**o, at security guard, ang bibigyan ng access sa aplikasyon.

Sinig**o naman ng PRO Calabarzon na walang paaralan ang maiiwan o makaliligtaan sa pagbibigay ng access at paglalagay ng naturang sistema, kabilang ang mga Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) sa buong rehiyon. | via MOP/PIA4A

Pinalakas na digital learning para sa mga mag-aaral ng Pakil!

Nasa 12 pampublikong paaralan sa Pakil, Laguna, ang makatatanggap ng Starlink Internet Connectivity sa ilalim ng Adopt-a-School ICT Program ng Prime Infra Foundation at Ahunan Power, Inc., katuwang ang DepEd Sub-Pakil District.

Ngayong Miyerkules, pinangunahan ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara, kasama sina Prime Infra Foundation Director Donato Almeda at Ahunan Power President and CEO Noel Gonzales, ang paglulunsad ng programa na naglalayong palawakin ang inklusibo at patas na access sa dekalidad na edukasyon sa pamamagitan ng mas maaasahang internet connectivity.

Samantala dinaluhan din ang programa ng mga kinatawan mula sa DICT-CALABARZON, Pakil LGU, DepEd CALABARZON, SDO Laguna, at mga kawani ng mga benepisyaryong paaralan.
