𝗗𝗕𝗖 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗛𝗦

With the theme "Your Phone. Your Rules.", Don Bosco College, Inc. - Canlubang holds a SHS-catered seminar regarding digital wellness, featuring the importance of responsible use of technology among youth at the DBC audiovisual room (AVR), September 23.

The seminar highlighted that digital wellness means to use technology on purpose rather than for pastime and that the talk aims to focus on awareness rather than judgment.

"Dapat palagi natin siyang gagamitin with intention and with purpose [We must always use technology with intention and purpose]," Ms. Khaila Ranara, RPsy, DBC School Counselor, underscored.

It further pressed on the negative factors of improper digital use, stressing how social media and other online platforms can adversely affect student mental health and social life, specifically on screen time and the reasons behind such overuse.

Today, at 7:18 PM, the members of Grade 12 Versiglia came together as one family to offer our deepest condolences, prayers, and love to our classmate and Sports Minister, Gabriel Morales, and his family following the passing of his father.

In this time of sorrow, we hope that our presence brought even a little comfort and reminded Gab that he does not have to face this difficult moment alone. As a class, we stand with him and his family, carrying them in our thoughts and prayers and offering our unwavering support.

We sincerely thank the SHS Faculty and Fr. Paul Dunca SDB, for being with us and helping us come together to support Gab and his family. May God grant them strength, comfort, and peace, and may the memories of his father remain a source of love and courage in the days ahead.

𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗜, 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴-𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗗𝗕𝗖 𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗕𝗞𝗣 '𝟮𝟲

Masiglang ipinagdiwang ng Senior High School level ang pagtatapos ng Buwan ng Wikang Filipino na pinagsanib sa kamalayan sa Artificial Intelligence (AI) noong Setyembre 3, 2026. Pinag-iisa ng okasyon na ito ang pagpapahalaga sa kultura at pag-angkop sa makabagong dihital na panahon.

Sinimulan ang mga aktibidad sa isang engrandeng parada. Nagmartsa ang mga mag-aaral at g**o habang ipinamamalas ang kanilang mga natatanging kasuotan, bitbit ang pangalan ng kanilang seksyon, at higit sa lahat, ang pagmamalaki bilang Pilipino.

Ipinakita rin ng mga Bosconians ang kanilang talento sa mga paligsahan sa dihital na paglikha ng paskil, spoken word poetry at sabayang pagbigkas. Gamit ang mga malikhaing piyesa at makukulay na likha, ibinahagi ng mga kalahok ang kahalagahan ng wika sa paghubog ng pagkakakilanlan sa gitna ng mabilis na modernisasyon.

Hindi rin nagpahuli ang sigla na idinala ng Palarong Pinoy. Nagpasiklaban ang bawat seksyon sa mga tradisyunal na laro katulad ng calamansi relay, luksong lubid, pasahan ng mensahe, at Pinoy Henyo na humubog sa samahan ng bawat isa.

Sinubok naman ang talas ng isip at kaalaman ng mga Busko sa Tagisan ng Talino quiz bee, kung saan ipinamalas ang kanilang malalim na pag-unawa sa kasaysayan at kalinangang Pilipino at AI.

Bilang pagtatapos at pagbubuklod sa lahat, idinaos ang Pistang Pinoy matapos ang lahat ng aktibidad. Dito ay nagsalo-salo ang mga g**o at mag-aaral sa mga tradisyunal na pagkaing Pilipino, na naging pagkakataon din upang makapagpahinga, magbuklod-buklod, at magdiwang ang bawat isa.

Nag-iwan ang pagdiriwang na ito ng isang talinhaga: sa kabila ng pagbabago ng panahon at paglusong ng teknolohiya, ang Wikang Filipino at ang ating pagkakaisa ay mananatiling sandigan ng ating pagka-Pilipino.

Sa gitna ng mabilisang takbuhan, matitinding habulan, at paligsahan ng diskarte, naging tampok ang Palarong Pinoy bilang selebrasyon ng tradisyon, kompetisyon, at pagkakaisa. Sa bawat laro, namukod-tangi ang bilis, liksi, at pagkakaisa ng bawat koponan.

Sa Batuhang Bola, nanguna ang Versiglia ’12, sinundan ng Zatti ’11 at Cafasso ’11. Samantala, sa Patintero, itinanghal na kampeon ang Cafasso ’11, kasunod ang Caravario ’12 at Zatti ’11.

Sa pagtatapos ng mga laban, higit na umangat ang diwa ng larong Pilipino, kung saan ang bawat galaw ay may diskarte, bawat laban ay may hamon, at bawat koponan ay may pagkakataong ipakita ang kanilang husay.
