🎉 WELCOME TO THE USMCO FAMILY, CHEF MARTIN BALLESTEROS! 🎉

The Upland Sierra Madre Chef Organisation Philippines (USMCO) proudly and warmly welcomes Chef Martin Ballesteros as one of our newest members under Batch 4-2026.

Chef Martin is a young culinarian, baker, and recipe developer whose passion for food began remarkably early. He started honing his culinary skills at just seven years old, developing a foundation of curiosity, creativity, and determination that continues to shape his journey today.

His competitive spirit became evident during his senior high school years when he fearlessly stepped forward to compete at the STI Tagisan ng Talino at Sining, becoming the only senior high school student to challenge older competitors. His determination and confidence later earned him a 1st Runner-Up finish at the local Worth the Whisk competition.

Today, Chef Martin is already building valuable professional experience as an R&D Chef and Culinary Consultant for three food brands, where he contributes his creativity and technical knowledge to recipe development, product innovation, and culinary concepts.

Beyond the commercial kitchen, Martin also shares his knowledge through livelihood baking workshops, helping others discover practical culinary skills and opportunities through food.

His journey is far from over. Driven by an unwavering commitment to continuous learning and professional growth, Chef Martin is preparing to pursue his International Diploma in Culinary Arts, further strengthening his foundation as he works toward a promising career in the global culinary industry.

At USMCO, we believe that age is never a limitation when passion, discipline, and the hunger to learn are present. Chef Martin represents the emerging generation of Filipino culinary professionals, bold enough to compete, humble enough to learn, and passionate enough to share.
