CHRISTIACO CONDUCTS MEDICAL AND DENTAL MISSION FOR ROXAS, PALAWAN SCHOLARS

Christiaco, a group of professionals and medical practitioners, conducted a medical and dental mission at Dualtech Training Center for scholars from Roxas, Palawan. The activity provided basic medical and dental services and an opportunity to assess the scholars’ health and well-being.

Atty. Romy Lagman also delivered a motivational talk, encouraging the scholars to remain committed to their training despite challenges. He emphasized the importance of perseverance, diligence, and determination in achieving their goals.

The program was coordinated by Fr. Roderick Caabay, parish priest of Roxas, Palawan, who endorses students from the community to Dualtech. The scholars underwent medical check-ups and dental consultations, followed by the distribution of vitamins and prescribed medicines based on their health needs.

The mission provided the scholars with health support while reinforcing the importance of maintaining their well-being as they pursue their training at Dualtech.

DUALTECH TRAINING CENTER IN PALAWAN

Following the career roadshow organized by the DSWD MIMAROPA and DSWD Occidental Mindoro Field Offices, the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) – Occidental Mindoro invited Dualtech Training Center to present its programs during its quarterly meeting with the municipal mayors of the province.

Dualtech presented its Electromechanics Technology program, highlighting how technical training combined with apprenticeship in partner industries can help prepare trainees for employment. Through hands-on industry experience, trainees gain practical skills and work values while being given opportunities for employment after training.

The municipal mayors expressed their support for the program and its potential to provide out-of-school youth (OSY) in Occidental Mindoro with access to skills training and employment opportunities.

DUALTECH EXPANDS CAREER OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH ORIENTATIONS IN ARACELI, PALAWAN

Dualtech Training Center, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) MIMAROPA, conducted career orientation sessions in 11 barangays in Araceli, Palawan.

The orientations reached the communities of Sto. Niño, Dagman, Tinintinan, Poblacion, Lumacad, Osmeña, Dalayawon, Calandagan, Madildolan, San Jose de Oro, and Maurungan. The sessions introduced senior high school graduates and other interested youth to Electromechanics Technology Program and its industry-based training model, which combines in-school training with hands-on exposure in partner companies.

The activity is part of the continuing partnership between Dualtech and DSWD MIMAROPA to expand access to technical education and employment opportunities for the youth.

ARTECHE E-LIBRARY OPENS TO PROVIDE DIGITAL LEARNING ACCESS FOR YOUTH

Students and young people in Arteche, Eastern Samar now have access to a new digital learning facility following the opening of the Arteche E-Library on September 17, 2026.

Located at the Arteche Public Terminal, the E-Library provides computers and internet connectivity that students can use for research, online learning, school requirements, and other educational activities.

The facility is part of the municipality’s 10-Point Agenda, particularly its E-Education Center and Smart Municipality initiatives aimed at expanding access to digital learning resources.

The project received additional support through the donation of five laptops from Ibiden, facilitated by the Dualtech Training Center Foundation. The equipment will provide students with more resources for academic and research-related activities.

The opening was attended by Mayor Susan Evardone and Vice Mayor Roland Evardone, along with representatives from Dualtech, Ibiden, the Department of Education, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Eastern Samar State University, and youth and student groups.

The E-Library is intended to serve as a shared digital learning space where students can access online resources and technology to support their education.

Lumaki siyang saksi sa pagsisikap ng kaniyang mga magulang na sina Rea Ann at Joefrey, mga magulang na nagtatanim ng gulay upang maitawid ang pang-araw-araw na pangangailangan ng pamilya, habang humaharap din sa mga pagsubok sa kalusugan.

Maaga niyang natutunan na walang pangarap na madaling makamit.

Kaya nang mabigyan siya ng pagkakataong makapag-aral sa DualTech Training Center bilang scholar, dala niya hindi lamang ang sariling pangarap, kundi pati ang pag-asa ng kaniyang pamilya.

Malayo man sa tahanan, pinili niyang magpatuloy. Sa bawat pagod, pangungulila, at hamon, lagi niyang naaalala kung para kanino siya nagsusumikap.

Hanggang sa dumating ang araw na naging bunga ng lahat ng kaniyang tiyaga ang Gold Merit Award 🏅

Para kay Jeffrey, higit pa sa isang medalya ang parangal. Ito ay patunay na ang isang batang nagmula sa simpleng tahanan ay maaaring mangarap nang mataas at makamit ito.

DUALTECH AND DSWD REGION VIII OPEN OPPORTUNITIES IN EASTERN VISAYAS

Dualtech Training Center and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region VIII collaborated to offer training and employment opportunities for the youth in Eastern Visayas.

DSWD Region VIII invited Dualtech to present its program to Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officers (MSWDOs) from across the region to encourage more municipalities to connect their youth with Dualtech.

The partnership model with the Municipality of Arteche, Eastern Samar, has inspired other municipalities to explore similar initiatives. The first batch of scholars from Arteche under ZEP2030 completed the Electromechanics Technology program and is now employed by the sponsoring company.

During the presentation, an MSWDO also shared her experience from a previous NGO engagement, where all scholars sent to Dualtech were employed immediately after completing their training. The sharing highlighted the impact of the program in helping young people gain skills and transition into employment.
