The freedom to vote, to choose, to seek knowledge, and to shape our collective future is a fundamental right that every citizen holds. Today, September 15, we observe the International Day of Democracy to emphasize that democratic values safeguard fundamental human rights, foster institutional accountability, and ensure that every voice is given a space to be heard.

As Letranites, engaging in democratic choices means taking a decisive stand for the nation and its people. Beyond participating in elections, our role as active members of society requires us to uphold the rights enshrined in our Constitution, defend human dignity, protect personal privacy, and champion the freedom of expression.

May we always remember the power of our voices, choices, and convictions in building a fair, transparent, and just society.
