Giovanni Z. Lopez at LTO Assistant Secretary Markus V. Lacanilao.

Pinangunahan ng mga tauhan ng Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 4A (RACU 4A), katuwang ang Calamba Component City Police Station (CCPS) at LTO Calamba District Office, ang entrapment operation alinsunod sa aprubadong Pre-Operation Clearance.

May kaugnayan ang operasyon sa umano’y paglabag sa Republic Act No. 11032, o Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act No. 10175, o Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

'Lahat ng Barangay Makikinabang': P200,000 for each barangay, ₱68-M aid scholarships; Sec. Recto leads Laguna program

SANTA CRUZ, LAGUNA – Executive Secretary Ralph Recto personally led the Laguna leg of the Malacañang-backed "Lahat ng Barangay Makikinabang" program held at the Laguna Sports Complex Friday, September 11 where a huge crowd gathered to witness the distribution of assistance intended for the province’s 681 barangays.

Governor Sol Aragones graced the jampacked affair, which focused on the release of financial aid to 681 barangays — each receiving ₱200,000 in cash assistance, totaling ₱136.2 million — intended for community projects, livelihood activities, and grassroots needs.

But beyond the cash grants, Malacañang also announced a major educational component: five scholarship slots per barangay across the province, to be known as Presidential Scholars, giving thousands of qualified students the chance to pursue their education with government support.

"With 681 barangays in Laguna, we want to ensure that no community is left behind — whether in financial aid or in opportunities for our youth," Secretary Recto stated. "Today, we do not just turn over checks; we also invest in the future of this province through these Presidential Scholarships."

Malacang will sponsor five scholars for every barangays with each receiving 20,000 pesos each.

Governor Aragones welcomed both initiatives, expressing gratitude to the national government for recognizing the needs of Laguna’s grassroots communities and its young people.

"This is truly a milestone — financial assistance that directly reaches our barangay leaders, plus scholarship opportunities that will change the lives of deserving students from every corner of the province," Gov. Aragones said. "This program lives up to its name: Lahat ng Barangay Makikinabang."

The massive turnout at the Laguna Sports Complex highlighted the enthusiasm of local officials and residents alike. Mayors, provincial board members, and hundreds of barangay officials from across the province joined the event, with many expressing hope that the aid and scholarship program would be rolled out to the remaining 601 barangays across Laguna in succeeding phases.

Recto also committed to add 10 more ambulance vehicles to the existing 30 Abulance on the Go program of Governor Aragones.
