In consideration of the concerns raised by the students and the current financial struggles being experienced by many, the University Student Government (USG) has decided on
This consideration applies only to USG-related fines and is implemented as an act of understanding and consideration toward the present financial situation of the students.
However, this does ๐ฃ๐ค๐ฉ mean that the same policy will automatically apply in the following semesters or school years. The USG also reminds everyone that we do not tolerate irresponsibility or disregard of university activities and policies. We still encourage all students to remain responsible, participative, and mindful of their actions and responsibilities.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE
03 March 2026
On March 3, 2026, the Moon will be totally eclipsed in Manila and other parts of the Philippines for about 59 minutes and 24 seconds. This Total Lunar Eclipse will be completely visible over Eastern Asia, Australia, the Central Pacific, and most of the Americas.
Weather permitting, the public is invited to observe the Moon on March 3, 2026. The maximum eclipse happens at 7:34 PM, with the Moon entering totality at 7:04 PM.
During the maximum eclipse, the Umbral shadow cast by the Earth will obscure 100% of the Moon's disk. This phenomenon is sometimes referred to as a BLOOD MOON, as it appears red during the eclipse due to the way Earthโs atmosphere filters and scatters sunlight.
The Total Lunar Eclipse is very easy to observe. A modest pair of binoculars will provide an excellent view of the Moon's surface, but not required. Contrary to solar eclipses, observing a lunar eclipse is completely safe and does not require any protective eyewear.

Week 2: BSED Students Drive Lasting Change โ Consistency in Cleaning Lights the Way at MinSU Calapan Campus
Under one project and one shared legacy, BSED students are demonstrating unwavering consistency in their cleaning initiatives to foster lasting environmental change at MinSU Calapan-Campus (MCC).
"Not just a one-day effort, but a commitment." This powerful statement comes from Mr. Dwyne Fabrero, Chairperson of Science Core Group, as the program continues through active collaboration across all BSED majors.
Their mission is threefold: to keep MCC grounds clean and visually pleasing, to ease the workload of campus caretakers, and to lead by example โ inspiring fellow students to embrace environmental stewardship.
See the power of collaboration? Thanks to our leaders from the Mathematics Society, Samahang Filipino, and D'Mentors - CSG โ with them, we are united with one shared legacy: to make MinSU garbage free.
Working hand in hand across different student organizations, every effort counts as we strive to transform our campus into a clean, sustainable space for all. Together, weโre proving that collective action can create lasting positive change!
