Fighting Drills | Army Combatives Program
Students of the Army Combatives Program conduct intensive fighting drills designed to develop timing, movement, control, and the ability to apply combative techniques effectively under pressure.
The training is supervised by LTC LAWRENCE SAN JUAN, Head of Military Training, IKMF Philippines; G4-Level Instructor; and Director, Combat Fitness and Wellness Development Center (CFWDC), ETC, Philippine Army, with the training program falling under the overall management and guidance of Dindo De Jesus, Expert Level 3 (E3), Expert International Team (EIT), Country Director and Chief Instructor, IKMF Philippines.
As Country Director and Chief Instructor, Dindo De Jesus provides the overall direction, management, and standardization of IKMF training in the Philippines, ensuring that practitioners undergo a structured, progressive, and quality-controlled training system.
Through continuous fighting drills, review, and refinement, practitioners develop greater speed, accuracy, control, confidence, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Continuous Review | Army Combatives Program
The IKMF practitioners undergoing the Army Combatives Program continue to refine and strengthen their skills through regular technique reviews conducted by LTC LAWRENCE SAN JUAN, Head of Military Training, IKMF Philippines; G4 Level Instructor; and Director, Combat Fitness and Wellness Development Center (CFWDC), Education and Training Command (ETC), Philippine Army.
Continuous review is essential in developing precision, consistency, confidence, and proper muscle memory. It allows practitioners to identify and correct weaknesses, reinforce key checkpoints, and ensure that techniques are executed effectively and instinctively under pressure.

IKMF KRAV MAGA TRAINING | WEAPON APPLICATION & RETENTION
The IKMF Krav Maga Training was conducted by LTC Lawrence R. San Juan, G4 Level Instructor, Head Instructor for Military Training of IKMF Philippines, and Director, Combat Fitness and Wellness Development Center (CFWDC), Education and Training Command, Philippine Army.
The training focused on practical weapon-related skills, particularly the use of the pistol as a cold weapon, weapon retention, and weapon strikes. The session emphasized proper weapon control, maintaining possession of the fi***rm during close-quarter encounters, and the application of striking concepts when the fi***rm cannot or should not be fired.
The training further reinforced the IKMF principle of Retzev—continuous, decisive action appropriate to the situation—while maintaining safety, control, awareness, and combat applicability.
