An Ode to a Woman

I know you’ve been hard on yourself again,
noticing every little change like it’s something to fix. But listen, nothing about your body is wrong. The softness, the shifts, the tired days,
the moments it doesn’t feel like yours, that’s normal.

That’s life moving through you. The world will tell you to be smaller, quieter, easier to love and to look at.

But you wake up in that noise every day and still keep going. That’s strength. You carry pressure people don’t see. The weight of comparisons, the expectations, the constant feeling of not being enough. And still, you show up.

So when your body feels unfamiliar, when doubt gets loud. Pause a little. Breathe. This is your body, and it’s doing its best to hold you.

You don’t need to shrink. You don’t need to change to be worthy. You already are— strong, independent, relentless.

And even on the days you don’t believe it,
that doesn’t make it any less true.
