Demonstrating its commitment to transparency and development, the City Project Monitoring Committee (CPMC)—composed of representatives from Local Government Units (LGUs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)—conducted its 2nd Quarter 2026 (June 26, 2026) Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activity for the city's ongoing and completed infrastructure projects funded by both local and national government sources.

Today, June 5, 2026, personnel from the Office of the City Planning and Development Coordinator (OCPDC) participated in a tree-planting activity initiated by the City Government of Digos in celebration of World Environment Day. The activity was conducted in Barangay Dulangan, Digos City, as part of the city's commitment to environmental conservation, sustainable development, and the promotion of a greener and healthier community.

Pursuant to the finalization of the Resilient Urban Design and Development (RUDD) priority areas of the City Government of Digos as one of the pilot Local Government Units (LGUs) in Davao Region and as initially presented during the 4-day RUDD Training Worshop, the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development (DHSUD) Region XI called for an Online Coordination Meeting on May 26, 2026 to convene the members of the RUDD Technical Working Group (TWG) and meet the LGU's partner academe, Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao, College of Engineering and Architecture.

The session aims to introduce all members of the LGU RUDD TWG and the Academe, align expectations, and facilitate the presentation of the LGU's priority areas for RUDD and its proposed urban design strategies.

A productive and collaborative meeting with the CDC Executive Committee, its dedicated members, and guided by the visionary leadership of our Mayor. Together, we continue to shape strategies that strengthen community resilience and drive meaningful progress.

Members of the GAD Executive Committee and GAD TWG attend the GAD Sensitivity, Gender Analysis, and HGDG Training & GAD Agenda Formulation Seminar-Workshop (April 13–15, 2026) in Digos City, reinforcing our commitment to gender-responsive governance.

Digos City proudly convened its 1st Quarter City Project Monitoring Committee (CPMC) Meeting on March 17, 2026, at the OCPDC Conference Room, bringing together committed stakeholders from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Private Organizations (POs), and various local government offices. The meeting was also attended by CPMC member and SP Committee Chairperson on Planning and Development, Public Works, Infrastructure, Land Use and Housing, SP Michael Latasa.

This collaborative initiative reflects a strong and sustained commitment to transparency, accountability, and participatory governance. It serves as a vital platform to ensure that programs and projects are effectively monitored, evaluated, and aligned with the city’s development priorities.

Through unity and shared responsibility, Digos City continues to strengthen good governance and advance inclusive and sustainable development for every Digoseño.

Representatives from various offices participated in the GAD Planning and Budgeting for CY 2027 held at Dawis Heritage Wharf Function Hall, Barangay Dawis, Digos City on February 24, 2026.

The activity aims to ensure compliance with JMC 2024-01 and to strengthen the formulation, consolidation, and submission of the GAD Plan and Budget (GPB). Participating offices presented their proposed GAD PPAs to promote meaningful collaboration among GFPS-TWG members and facilitate smooth coordination with higher LGUs and the DILG.

This initiative reinforces the City Government’s continued commitment to gender-responsive governance and inclusive development.
