Claiming the second-place finish, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗹, 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 10 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 of Ugad High School, secured the 2𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗽 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 6 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 (𝗟𝗗6𝗙𝗢𝗧) 2026 held on August 28 at San Guillermo Vocational and Industrial High School, San Guillermo, Isabela.

Gumpal demonstrated her knowledge, quick thinking, and composure as she competed against talented learners from across Legislative District 6, earning a spot among the event’s top performers.

She was coached by 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗮, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜, whose guidance and preparation helped hone Gumpal’s skills for the competition.

The achievement adds another distinction to Ugad High School’s growing list of accomplishments in LD6FOT 2026, reflecting the dedication of its learners, coaches, and school.

DANCING their way into history, the Paddaw Dance Troupe of Ugad High School clinched its 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 2026 – 𝗟𝗗6𝗙𝗢𝗧, earning a spot as a 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿.

The troupe delivered a powerful performance that showcased the dancers’ discipline, artistry, teamwork, and dedication to their craft, securing another coveted championship title in the competition.

Guiding the troupe were 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘂𝗮𝗻, with 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻, whose expertise contributed to the group’s winning performance.

The dancers also expressed their gratitude to 𝗨𝗴𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗩 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗚. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 for providing them with the time, support, and encouragement needed to prepare and perfect their competition piece.

As a 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿, the Paddaw Dance Troupe will advance to the next level of competition in Sta. Maria, Isabela, where it will carry Ugad High School’s pride and continue its quest for another championship.

Isinabuhay ng Ugad High School ang diwa ng 𝗕𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮 2026 sa pamamagitan ng isang munting programa na idinaos kasunod ng Flag Ceremony noong Lunes, Agosto 24, sa paaralan.

Tampok sa programa ang pag-aalay ng tula ni 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁, 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴 9, at 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹 sa pangunguna at pagtuturo ni 𝗜𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇, 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 11.

Isinagawa ang pagdiriwang alinsunod sa polisiya ng Department of Education (DepEd) hinggil sa hindi pag-aantala sa instructional block, kaya nanatiling tuloy-tuloy ang regular na klase ng mga mag-aaral.

Nagbigay rin ng mensahe si 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗚. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿, 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝘂𝗿𝗼, na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng wika bilang bahagi ng pagkakakilanlan ng bawat Pilipino.

Pinangunahan ni 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗲 𝗖. 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻, 𝗞𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, ang pag-oorganisa ng programa katuwang ang Language Department ng paaralan.

Nakaangkla ang pagdiriwang sa temang “𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗜: 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗶𝗻,” na nagbibigay-diin sa paggamit ng wikang Filipino at artificial intelligence bilang kasangkapan sa pananaliksik at pagsasagawa ng mga gawaing makabayan.

Sa pamamagitan ng tula at katutubong sayaw, naipamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang pagpapahalaga sa wika, kultura, at sining Pilipino sa isang maikli ngunit makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika.🔥

Ugad High School scored three major wins at the 2026 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 6 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗪, earning top honors for 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 (𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆–𝗝𝗛𝗦), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 2–𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 on August 27 at Echague National High School.

The school was named 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻, recognizing its strong performance and achievements in delivering quality education.

Adding another major honor to the school's recognition was Jesus Salvador Salvador's 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 (𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆–𝗝𝗛𝗦) 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆. He was named champion in the category for three consecutive years, earning him a place in the 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗪 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗲.

Completing Ugad High School's triple win was 𝗡𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗕. 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗜𝗜, who received the 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 2–𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗲 honor in recognition of his service and contribution to the school and the Department of Education.

Meanwhile, 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝘄𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗮, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗜𝗜, was named 1𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗜𝗜–𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 during the 2026 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗪 held in San Fabian, Echague, Isabela.

The awards were given during the 2026 Legislative District 6 PAMMADAYAW, a recognition program that honors schools and education workers for their accomplishments, dedication, and service.

The three awards added another milestone to Ugad High School's achievements, reflecting the combined efforts of its school leaders, teachers, personnel, learners, and stakeholders in working toward a shared goal of excellence.

With three major honors in one recognition program, Ugad High School once again brought pride to the Ugadian community at the 2026 LD6 PAMMADAYAW.

Leading the Ugadian delegation was 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴, who was recently elected as 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲, together with officers of the 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, (𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢), 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗮 (𝗕𝗞𝗗) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚).

The young leaders took part in the camp's opening activities, engaging with fellow youth participants through leadership-centered sessions and collaborative activities designed to encourage participation, teamwork, and responsible citizenship.

Guiding the delegation was 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗼 𝗜𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮, 𝗕𝗞𝗗 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿, with the support of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗚. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿, 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗩, who underscored the importance of investing in the leadership potential of the youth.

“𝘕𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘢𝘬𝘰 𝘯𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘮𝘶𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘰 𝘢𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘥𝘢𝘥. 𝘒𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘨 𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘺𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘰𝘯, 𝘨𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘺, 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘢𝘯, 𝘯𝘢𝘩𝘶𝘩𝘶𝘣𝘰𝘨 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘱𝘸𝘢 𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘰𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘥,” Dr. Salvador said.

The school also expressed its appreciation to the local government and youth leaders for opening opportunities for young Ugadians to learn beyond the four walls of the classroom.

“𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘢 𝘓𝘎𝘜 𝘌𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘚𝘒 𝘍𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘩𝘶𝘣𝘰𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳,” the school shared.

As the leadership camp continues, more Ugadian learners are set to participate in the Day 2 and Day 3 activities, where additional leadership engagements, collaborative sessions, and youth-centered activities await the young participants.

With three days of learning and leadership ahead, the 𝗨𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱—𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱.
