The IBP Manila IV Chapter recognizes Atty. Maynard Panela and IBP Manila IV Ms. IBP cadidate Atty. Marianne Morelos-Suazo, for rendering their LODI duty for the month of August.

Through the Lawyer of the Day Initiative, our volunteer lawyers provide free legal assistance to indigent walk-in clients at the IBP Manila IV Chapter Office at UG Burgundy Transpacific Place, Taft Avenue, Manila.

Their service is creditable to the Unified Legal Aid Service (ULAS) and exemplifies the legal profession’s continuing commitment to access to justice and public service.

IBP Abogado Barangay Caravan Reaches San Andres, Manila for Its 10th Leg

On August 15, 2026, IBP Manila IV Chapter successfully conducted the 10th Leg of its IBP Abogado Barangay Caravan (ABC) in San Andres, Manila, bringing legal education, consultation, and assistance closer to the barangay community.

The outreach was attended by 119 participants, composed of barangay officials from Zones 84 to 88, together with 31 lawyers of IBP Manila IV Chapter, led by Chapter President Atty. Nelson H. Manalili, who hosted the event.

The program featured a timely and informative legal lecture on Election Laws, delivered by Atty. Eli Aringay, Election Officer of Taguig City. The lecture provided the participating barangay officials with valuable guidance on the legal principles and rules governing elections and related matters.

The lecture was followed by one-on-one legal consultations and legal assistance provided by the Chapter's participating lawyers. The barangay officials were given an opportunity to seek professional advice concerning their respective legal problems, concerns, and queries, with the lawyers providing guidance and assistance based on applicable laws and procedures.

The 10th Leg of the ABC reflects the continuing commitment of IBP Manila IV Chapter to bring the legal profession closer to the communities it serves. Through the ABC, the Chapter seeks not only to promote greater awareness of the law but also to make legal knowledge, consultation, and assistance more accessible to barangay officials and the people they serve.
