Today, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, Adamson University successfully held 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐄: 𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 through 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐟𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬.

Due to the rising Air Quality Index (AQI) in Metro Manila, inclement weather, and flooding in different areas, the event was shifted online to prioritize everyone’s safety. Despite these challenges, participants, speakers, and affected families were able to adjust, allowing the spirit of connection and collaboration to remain strong.

The event successfully gathered more than 100 Electronics Engineering students from Adamson University, together with the CYCU professors and students, creating a meaningful platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, research, and perspectives.

The program featured insightful faculty presentations on 𝐒𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐜𝐡-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐖𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫, 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬, and the 𝐂𝐌𝐀𝐓 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, followed by testimony sharing and an engaging Q&A and discussion.

Despite being held virtually, 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐄 successfully connected two academic communities, allowing students and faculty from Adamson University and Chung Yuan Christian University to share ideas, experiences, and perspectives beyond physical boundaries.

Even when circumstances change, 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐒. ⚡🌐

OSL Memo No. 6, Series of 2026

In view of the haze affecting air quality in Metro Manila from ongoing wildfires in Indonesia, students who will be participating in the Tatak Adamson Welcome Event for New Students on September 2, 2026, are advised to take the necessary health precautions.

Students with asthma, allergies, respiratory conditions, or heightened sensitivity to smoke and haze are strongly encouraged to wear face masks throughout the event. Those who feel unwell, experience discomfort, or believe that participation may pose a risk to their health may opt not to join the activity.

Those who develop symptoms during the activity should immediately inform the event organizers, seek assistance from medical personnel, and proceed to a safe area.

The University places the highest priority on the health, safety, and well-being of its students. We encourage everyone to exercise caution, be mindful of their personal health condition, and make responsible decisions regarding their participation in the Welcome Event.
