Early race prep, a new look, and PUYAT RACING!!

The 4th round of the ENEOS Super Sprint series was held once more at Villar City, a familiar venue from the 2nd Round for this season.

We had the race prep rushed in anticipation for the upcoming round, but the unexpected postponing of the original schedule gave us more time to make sure the car was more ready to run the race. In addition to race prep, we decided to put on a new look by placing decals on the car to make sure our sponsors get more exposure during events.

Probably from my built up excitement for race day, I couldn’t get myself to sleep the night before the race no matter what I did, so I ended up arriving with no sleep. Good thing we had a new tent, so I was able to catch up on some rest.

Despite lacking some rest, I could tell the car (and I) was in a very ready state to compete, as I was able to get lower times before the afternoon sessions, and by the afternoon sessions, I was able to reach the time I was chasing, resulting in good finishing results.

No race prep, carwash lang po ang baon 😁

Round 3 of the 2026 ENEOS Super Sprint series brought us back to a very familiar environment at Riverpark, Gen. Trias, Cavite.

When I say that the car wasn’t prepped, I mean it. All I did was wash it the day before to get rid of the dust it collected while it was sitting in the driveway. No top ups, no replacing parts, just pure reliability, even after 193,000km of total mileage 💪

As for my performance, I was very happy about it since I was able to keep my times consistent throughout the day, and that helped me score podiums across all of my classes. Sure there were some hiccups (and some pylons hurt) but I could see myself improving with keeping my times low and consistent, as well as developing new techniques and skills per round.

The 2nd Round of the 2026 ENEOS Super Sprint series at Villar City, Bacoor, Cavite had quite the challenge.

It was refreshing to change venue after almost a whole season at Riverpark, but it did have it’s challenges. Having elevation changes meant different than usual braking points, and slower acceleration due to the uphill sections.

I wasn’t able to finish all my runs due to the cut-off period, but thankfully, I was able to run my last class right before the cut-off.

My achievements for the day:

🥉Intermediate Street Plus 3
🥇Street 3
🏆 Street Best Time 70.734 (2x Streak)

I may not have been the fastest across all classes, but I was able to achieve something new, I was able to keep my times more consistent than before, as well as significantly hitting less Pylons 😆
