The AMA Innovators have officially entered the development phase of 𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗨𝗦: An Integrated GIS-Based Emergency Incident Reporting, Geolocation Mapping, and Response Coordination System with Real-Time Emergency Analytics for the Municipality of Goa.

Every stage of development presents new challenges and opportunities to improve. With each milestone, the AMA Innovators move closer to delivering 𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗨𝗦, while continuously refining the system through testing and iteration.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | AMA Innovators Welcome Capstone Adviser

The AMA Innovators are pleased to share that, on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟲, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗩. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗜 officially joined the team as the capstone adviser for 𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗨𝗦: 𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗜𝗦-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗮.

During the team's initial meeting, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗩. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗜 immediately offered practical feedback after learning about the proposed system. The team greatly values his perspective and has taken his suggestions to heart as they continue refining and strengthening 𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗨𝗦.

Every great project begins with the guidance of dedicated mentors. With 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 𝗩. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗜 now mentoring the team, the AMA Innovators are inspired to continue refining 𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗨𝗦 and transform their vision into a system that serves the community.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | AMA Innovators Process Capstone Advisership Letter

As part of the team's capstone requirements, the AMA Innovators met with 𝗗𝗿. 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗖. 𝗖𝘂𝘆𝗮 on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟰 to have their letter requesting advisership reviewed. Through his keen attention to detail and valuable recommendations, the letter was refined and finalized.

Following the revisions, the team obtained the signature of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕. 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗮 on the advisership letter before proceeding to 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗕. 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗮, 𝗠𝗜𝗧, Officer-in-Charge of 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥. 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗼, for the recommending approval and signature, completing the required endorsements on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟱.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | AMA Innovators Attend Capstone Project and Research Seminar

Last 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟰, the AMA Innovators, together with their fellow third-year BSIT students, attended the Capstone Project and Research Seminar led by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗖. 𝗖𝘂𝘆𝗮 along with 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕. 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗮. The seminar provided valuable insights into the proper practices, common pitfalls, and essential guidelines in developing a quality capstone project.

The session served as a meaningful kickoff for the team's CAP2 journey. Through the discussions and practical advice shared by the speakers, the participants gained an unambiguous understanding of the research and system development process, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence needed for the next phase of their capstone journey.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮, the AMA Innovators proudly presented and successfully defended their capstone project, 𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗨𝗦: 𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗜𝗦-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗮, during the final day of the week-long Title Defense.

With this milestone, the team moves forward with renewed commitment as they continue developing their proposed system.

📍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | Stakeholder Engagement with LGU Goa

As part of their commitment to developing a responsive emergency response system, the AMA Innovators held a consultation with representatives from the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗮 (𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗚𝗼𝗮) on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟱 to exchange ideas on community needs and local emergency response initiatives, helping shape the continued development of ARGUS.

Upon arriving at the Municipal Hall, the AMA Innovators were assisted by 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮, who received and facilitated the processing of the team's formal request addressed to 𝗥𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗦. 𝗟𝗶𝗺, Municipal Mayor of Goa. After the request was approved, the team was endorsed to 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗶ñ𝗮𝘀, Support Staff, Municipal Office (MO) of LGU Goa, who accommodated the interview and provided valuable insights that will contribute to the continuous improvement of ARGUS.

The perspectives gathered through this engagement will serve as an important foundation in refining ARGUS, ensuring that its development remains aligned with the needs of the community and its local government.

📍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | Stakeholder Engagement with PNP Goa

Recognizing the importance of collaboration in developing effective public safety solutions, the AMA Innovators met with personnel from the 𝗚𝗼𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟯 to obtain professional perspectives and feedback in support of the continuous development of their capstone project, ARGUS.

The team formally submitted a request addressed to 𝗣𝗖𝗣𝗧 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘅 𝗥. 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘀. The letter was received by 𝗡𝗨𝗣 𝗡𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗲 𝗣. 𝗣𝗮𝗵𝗼𝘆𝗼, who graciously accommodated the team and shared valuable insights during the interview. Her expertise and recommendations provided a better understanding of current public safety practices, helping refine the proposed system to better support law enforcement and emergency response.

The exchange of ideas and expertise during the meeting will play a significant role in further refining the development of ARGUS. The AMA Innovators sincerely appreciate the Philippine National Police Goa for their openness, professionalism, and willingness to share their expertise.

📍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | Stakeholder Engagement with BFP Goa

The AMA Innovators officially began their stakeholder engagement with the 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗙𝗣) 𝗚𝗼𝗮 on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬, when the team visited the station to formally invite the office to become one of the stakeholders for their capstone project, 𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗨𝗦.

On 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟱, the team returned to conduct the stakeholder interview. While the Municipal Fire Marshal, 𝗙𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗿𝘆 𝗟. 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻, was unable to personally accommodate the interview, he referred the team to 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟮 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗠. 𝗦𝗲ñ𝗮𝗿, who shared valuable insights and recommendations that will help strengthen the development of the proposed system.

The AMA Innovators sincerely thank the Bureau of Fire Protection Goa for their warm accommodation, valuable expertise, and support throughout this important stage of the project.
