• Not less than 18 years of Age
• Must be a student of CuSU Imus and enrolled in NSTP
• Have no medical issues
• Physically and mentally fit for training

The CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit successfully provided vital support during the NSTP Orientation for freshmen from different academic departments. The orientation was fully supported by the ROTC Unit training staff, cadet officers, cadets, and alumni, who assisted students to their designated areas and guided them smoothly through the registration process.

The orientation introduced first-year students to the core components of the National Service Training Program—Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC)—to help them choose their path of national service.

​Anchored on the constitutional mandate under Article II, Section 4 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution and institutionalized by Republic Act No. 9163 (NSTP Act of 2001), the primary purpose of the ROTC program is to motivate, train, organize, and mobilize tertiary students for national defense preparedness and civil-military operations. Beyond fulfilling civic duty, students who join ROTC gain invaluable benefits, including leadership development, character building, and crisis management skills. Additionally, the program offers pathways to becoming commissioned officers or enlisted personnel in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and other uniformed services, while placing cadets in the AFP Reserve Force to serve as frontliners during disaster relief and humanitarian operations.

A special highlight of the event was the ROTC briefing delivered by PFC Marione Margaret P Fronda PA (Res), which detailed cadet advancement, uniform protocols, and training day activities, followed by an interactive Q&A session.

📢 ATTENTION ALL CVSU-IMUS FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS!

​Get ready for the NSTP Orientation (ROTC & CWTS) for Academic Year 2026–2027 happening on September 18, 2026, at the CvSU Imus Gymnasium.

​To ensure a smooth event, the orientation is split into two time blocks based on your program. The First Batch runs from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM for students in BSIT, BSCS, BSBA, BSENT, and BSOA. The Second Batch follows from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for students in BSHM, BSPSYCH, BSE-E, BSE-M, BEED, BECED, and BAJOURN.

What is ROTC?

The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) is a college program under the National Service Training Program (NSTP) in the Philippines (RA 9163) designed to prepare young citizens for national defense through Honor, Duty, and Patriotism.

The program starts with Basic ROTC, a mandatory one-year course for those students who chose ROTC as their NSTP component, focused on teaching core military fundamentals, discipline, teamwork, and civic duty.

Students who wish to take on greater responsibilities can proceed to Advanced ROTC, a voluntary three-year program offering advanced officer training, summer camps, and benefits like scholarships and allowances. Advanced ROTC graduates can serve as AFP Reservists or pursue full careers as commissioned officers.

Ultimately, ROTC shapes students into disciplined, resilient leaders ready to serve the nation—offering a transformative journey of growth, courage, and commitment.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng mga Bayani, ang Cavite State University - Imus Campus ROTC Unit ay buong-galang at tapos puso kaming sumasaludo sa mga nag-alay ng buhay para sa ating kalayaan.

​Mula sa makasaysayang lupain ng ating bayan, bitbit ng bawat kadete ang aral ng nakaraan—disiplina, dangal, at tapat na paglilingkod sa bayan. Hindi lamang sa nakaraan nabubuhay ang kabayanihan; ito ay patuloy na nagniningas sa ating pagsisilbi sa kasalukuyan.

Nagkaloob ng suporta at pangkalahatang sekuridad ang CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit upang mapanatili ang kaayusan sa ginanap na Ecumenical Thanksgiving Mass, na nagsilbi ring opisyal na send-off mass para sa mga magtatapos ngayong taon.

Nagsimula ang programa sa panawagan sa misa ni Ms. Leslie Anne N. Gatdula, na sinundan ng pagtatanghal ng SINAGTALA Chorale at pambungad na pananalita mula sa Campus Administrator na si Dr. Agnes C. Francisco. Ang mga pagbasa at panalangin ng pasasalamat ay pinangunahan ng mga g**o na sina Ms. Milagros Viado at Mr. Bryan Chester P. Cruz

Ang aktibidad ay pinamunuan ni C/CPT FRANZ JASPER C WONG 2CL, Alpha Company Commander, kasama ang isang (1) 2CL Cadet officer at tatlong (3) 3CL Cadets.

Ang aktibidad na ito ay pinamahalaan ni CPT SHERWIN E JANDA INF PA (RES), Commandant, at 1LT MARLON Q MARTINEZ OS PA (RES), Assistant Commandant ng CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit.
