Message Title: Lest We Offend Them

Following Christ is not only about what we are free to do, but also about how our choices affect the people around us. We were reminded that our freedom should never become a stumbling block to someone else's faith, growth, or relationship with God.

This message challenged us to live with greater awareness, humility, and love—choosing what builds others up rather than simply insisting on our own rights. Sometimes, loving others means laying down our freedom for the sake of their faith and choosing actions that reflect Christ.

May our lives never be a reason for someone to stumble, but a reflection of God's love that encourages others to draw closer to Him. 💙

It's easy to think, "That could never happen to me."

We see someone fall into bitterness, offense, or resentment and wonder how they ever got there.

We tell ourselves we'd respond differently.

We'd know better.

We'd never let it get that far.

But what if we're not as far from the same trap as we think?

What if spiritual maturity isn't about believing we're strong enough to never fall, but being humble enough to recognize that we always need God's grace?

Sometimes the greatest protection isn't confidence in ourselves, but dependence on God.

This message reminded us that Jesus will either become the Cornerstone on which we build our lives or the rock over which we stumble. Offense has the power to pull us away from God's purpose, but a heart that remains humble and teachable will continue to grow, stay rooted, and bear lasting fruit.

May we choose to receive God's truth with faith, allowing His Word to shape our hearts and establish our lives on the only foundation that will never be shaken. 💙

Following Jesus isn’t always comfortable.

There will be moments when His Word challenges us.
Moments when His ways don’t make sense.
Moments when obedience costs more than compromise.

Sobrang daling piliin ang approval ng tao kaysa ang katotohanan.

Pero hindi kailanman kinompromiso ni Jesus ang truth para lang tanggapin Siya ng lahat.

He remained faithful to the Father’s will, even when people misunderstood Him and walked away.

The question is: when God’s truth confronts us, will we stumble over it, or will we surrender to it?

There are seasons when God allows everything we once depended on to be shaken—not to destroy us, but to reveal what is truly unshakable. When our confidence is built on ourselves, our circumstances, or our own strength, He lovingly redirects our hearts to depend on His grace alone.

This message reminded us that faith is not pretending pain doesn't exist; faith is refusing to let pain redefine who God is. Even when we do not understand what He is doing, we can still trust His hand, knowing that every shaking has a purpose. God is not removing the person He created us to be—He is stripping away the false version of ourselves so we can become who He has truly called us to be.

May we continue to stand firm in Christ, allowing every season of shaking to strengthen our faith, deepen our dependence on His grace, and establish us on what can never be shaken. 💙
