RBAP-RBRDFI Microinsurance Initiative

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

1) Assist rural banks in the enhancement of their microinsurance services by providing a step-by-step guides and ready-to-use templates of documents required by the BSP and the Insurance Commission;
2) Conduct the Microinsurance Basic Training Course to qualify rural banks as Microinsurance Agents/Brokers;
3) Promote insurance literacy among rural bank clients through training and educational tools and materials and;
4) Provide rural banks with information on how to effectively establish partnerships with authorized insurers and microinsurance providers.
