The assembly emphasized the importance of respect, mutual understanding, and recognizing the different factors that influence the development of Filipino adolescents.

MNHS, INCS JOIN FORCES FOR FIRST JOINT BSP ENCAMPMENT
Matlang National High School (MNHS) hosted the first-ever Isabel National Comprehensive School (INCS)-MNHS Joint Encampment, themed “One Camp, One Promise, One Purpose,” on September 11–12, 2026, at the MNHS grounds.
The encampment strengthened the bond between the Senior Scouts of the two schools as they shared experiences, developed their scouting skills, and lived out the values embodied in the Scout Oath and Law.
The joint encampment was led by the Outfit Advisers of MNHS and INCS, Mrs. Stella Mariz Daffon and Mr. John Paul Daffon, respectively.
Scouts from both schools served as facilitators, accompanied by alumni Scouts who had graduated in previous years.
The participants were divided into two outfits, with each outfit composed of four crews, providing the Scouts with an opportunity to meet and build camaraderie with one another.
The morning of Day 1 was dedicated to preparations for the encampment, allowing the Scouts to set up and organize their respective camps before proceeding to 10 different modules designed to develop their skills and sharpen their minds through various scouting activities.
Day 2 featured a series of contests, including semaphore flag drill, knot tying, first aid, treasure hunt, chariot race, and other scouting activities.
For the final activity, the facilitators prepared a series of obstacles for Challenge Valley, which tested the decision-making skills of the eight crew leaders as they guided their respective crews through various challenges.
As the encampment came to a close, the Scouts were given a moment to look at their crew flags for the last time, reflecting on the challenges they had overcome, the moments they had enjoyed, and the laughter they had shared with fellow Scouts whom they had only met at the beginning of the camp.
The activity concluded with a friendship circle, where the graduating Scouts were given an opportunity to share their reflections and experiences throughout the encampment. Eagle Scout Mayor then led the Scout Benediction.
