Climate change is already affecting our farmers and communities through unpredictable weather, unpredictable rainfall pattern, rising temperatures, and longer dry seasons. To help prepare the next generation of leaders, Labo Progressive Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LPMPC), in partnership with Trias Southeast Asia, conducted a three-day Training of Trainers on Building Resilience to Climate Change for the LPMPC Young Environment Stewards.
This training aims to equip young farmers and entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills they need to help others understand and respond to the impacts of climate change.
This was more than just a training, it was an opportunity to develop young leaders who can share what they learned and inspire action in their own communities. Through interactive learning, planning, and teamwork, the Young Environment Stewards gained the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become trainers, advocates, and champions of climate resilience. Together, they took an important step toward building stronger, more sustainable, and climate-resilient farming communities.
