The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect Mindanao, bringing heavy rains over South Cotabato and nearby areas.

Meanwhile, Super Typhoon "INDAY" (International Name: BAVI) was estimated at 1,195 kilometers east of Northern Luzon as of 3:00 PM today. While it remains far from Mindanao, it continues to enhance the Southwest Monsoon, contributing to the prevailing weather conditions over the country.

Today, we were honored and privileged to welcome the Rotary Club of Marbel sir DAVID C. TAN, President of the Rotary Club of Marbel for the SY 2026-2027 to Lemlunay Elementary School for the conduct of a School Needs Assessment.

During the assessment, we identified the school's most urgent priority the provision of a reliable water supply system. Access to clean and safe water is essential in ensuring a healthy and conducive learning environment for our learners and school personnel.

We are grateful that SDO- South Cotabato Health Section has committed to allocating funds for the materials needed for the installation of the school's water pump system. Meanwhile, the Rotary Club of Marbel graciously listened to the school's concerns and shared that they will present and discuss our request during their upcoming club meeting. If approved, they may extend their support by shouldering the labor and installation costs of the project.

This collaborative effort reflects the importance of strong partnerships and our shared commitment to improving the learning environment for every child.

On behalf of the learners, teachers, parents and stakeholders of Lemlunay Elementary School, we extend our sincere appreciation to the Rotary Club of Marbel for taking the time to visit our school, assess our needs, and consider our request. Your concern and willingness to explore ways to help mean so much to our school community.

JUNE 26, 2026 | FIRST PTA GENERAL ASSEMBLY SY 2026-2027

Today, Lemlunay Elementary School successfully held its First General PTA Assembly Meeting! It was an essential day of collaboration, focusing on aligning our wonderful school community with critical directives, safety measures, and school guidelines for the upcoming terms.

Our dedicated Teachers and School Head led insightful presentations on key agenda items, including the DRRM Orientation, School Profiling, DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026 (Three-Term Calendar), School Rules & Regulations, and DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012 (Child Protection Policy).

We are also thrilled to announce the successful election of our new PTA Officers! We look forward to working closely with you to spearhead meaningful school-community projects.

ANNOUNCEMENT | RESUMPTION OF CLASSES ON JUNE 17, 2026

In accordance with Executive Order No. 61, Series of 2026, signed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Antonio G. Fungan, Jr., the suspension of classes at all levels in the Municipality of Lake Sebu has been officially lifted.

Therefore, classes at Lemlunay Elementary School will resume on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

All learners, parents, teachers and school personnel are advised to follow the regular class schedule and continue observing safety and preparedness measures as we return to normal school operations.

We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and cooperate with school authorities to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all.

Lake Sebu Municipal Mayor Hon. Antonio G. Fungan, Jr. has signed Executive Order No. 61, Series of 2026, officially lifting the suspension of classes at all levels in the Municipality of Lake Sebu.

The Order directs the resumption of regular class operations effective Wednesday, June 17, 2026, following the assessment of school facilities and the recommendation of the concerned authorities.

Students, parents, teachers, and school personnel are advised to follow their regular class schedules and continue observing safety and preparedness measures.
