Today, June 11, 2026, at the Pandan Municipal Hall, Bicol University and Catanduanes State University presented the outcomes of the KUGOS Program Stakeholder’s Consultation and conducted a review of the Memorandum of Agreement.

This activity is held in close coordination with and for the benefit of the Local Government Unit of Pandan, ensuring that the program is aligned with community needs and shared objectives. We move forward together toward meaningful development and partnership!

Partnership Meeting for KUGOS Program Implementation

Bicol University and Catanduanes State University came together yesterday, June 10, 2026, to strengthen their collaboration and finalize plans for the implementation of the KUGOS Program.

This partnership marks a significant step toward shared goals, resource sharing, and delivering quality initiatives for our stakeholders. Looking forward to a fruitful journey ahead!

Empowering Child Development Workers: Building Foundations for the Future 📚✨

As part of the preparatory phase for the "Kugos Edukasyon kan Tawo" project, a comprehensive needs assessment was recently conducted to identify competency gaps and capacity development priorities among our frontline educators. The results will serve as an evidence base to design effective training interventions and community engagement strategies focused on Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD).

In line with this, the team successfully held the activity "Engaging Our New Gen Young Learners" last April 23, 2026, at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall in Pamplona, Camarines Sur. The event was attended by 12 dedicated Child Development Workers (CDWs) from the municipality.

The session was facilitated by our team from BU KUGOS, Kugos Kinaban, and the BIDANI Project, with Dr. Marcia Corazon P. Rico, Component Leader of KUGOS Edukasyon, serving as the resource speaker. We were also honored by the presence and support of Hon. Manuel O. Agustin, Municipal Mayor of Pamplona.

The activity covered:
✅ Orientation on data gathering and baseline forms
✅ Effective teaching strategies and communication techniques
✅ Child-centered and inclusive approaches
✅ Workshop and demonstration of learning activities

Through interactive discussions and workshops, the participants gained practical knowledge and skills to become proactive and innovative leaders in ECCD service delivery.

This initiative reflects the strong partnership between Bicol University and the Local Government Unit of Pamplona, working together to elevate the quality of early childhood education in our communities.

The Stakeholder’s Consultation last April 30, 2026 brought together various sectors to assess community needs and design relevant extension activities.

On April 29, 2026, the BU KUGOS team paid a courtesy call to the Office of the Mayor of the Municipality of Pandan.

This visit served as a meaningful prelude to the successful Stakeholder’s Consultation held the following day, April 30, 2026. We are grateful for the warm reception and continued support as we work together towards shared goals and community development.
