𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 | St. Ignatius Loyola Academy, Inc. welcomed parents and guardians of Junior High School students during its Parents' Orientation on July 5, 2026, reinforcing the importance of a strong home-school partnership.

The orientation emphasized collaboration in supporting students' academic growth and success for the school year.

It also aimed to ensure a successful school year ahead.

𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 | The Acquaintance Party was more than just a night of music and celebration—it was a chance for SILAnians to meet new faces, strengthen friendships, and create memories that marked the beginning of a new school year.

So, we asked some SILAnians: What was your favorite part of the Acquaintance Party, and how did tonight's event make you feel more connected to your fellow students?

𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 | SILA Hosts Acquaintance Party, Welcomes New School Year

Students of Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy Inc. welcomed the new school year with an Acquaintance Party held on June 27, 2026, at the school campus.

The event, themed "Dress to Impress," gathered more than 400 students including teachers, and staff for an evening of activities and performances.

The program featured the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Supreme Secondary Learner Government officers and classroom officers, officially marking the start of their leadership for the school year.

The event also showcased student talents through various performances. Grade 11 student Fritzie Bactol II performed a solo number, while Trixie Ople and Jowee Anahaw presented a duet.

Members of the MAPEH Club also performed a dance number. Interactive activities, including the Circle of Friendship, gave students the opportunity to meet classmates and interact with one another.

The event also recognized students who best embodied the evening's theme. Johaness Naol received Most Fashionable, Yohan Joseph T. Mendez earned Most Elegant, Princess Rhaiza Mhae Monghit won Best Dressed, Amber Kiera Montajes claimed Best in Theme, and Quency Celeste took home Best in Style.

The Acquaintance Party marked the opening of the school year and included activities aimed at encouraging interaction among students and recognizing student leaders and participants.

𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 | St. Ignatius Loyola Academy, Inc. participated in the Nationwide Earthquake Drill conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Liloan on June 18, 2026.

The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and promote safety awareness among students, faculty, and staff through proper earthquake response procedures.

𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 | SILA officially opened classes for SY 2026–2027 as students returned to campus for the start of the new academic year.

Faculty and staff welcomed learners across all grade levels as regular academic activities commenced.

Their dedication to truthful storytelling, critical thinking, and responsible journalism highlights the Academy’s continued commitment to excellence in campus journalism.

𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 | Grade 10 completers and Grade 12 graduates of St. Ignatius Loyola Academy, Inc. marked a significant milestone on March 26, 2026, as they took part in the Completion and Graduation Rites.

The ceremony recognized their academic journey, achievements, and readiness to take on the next stage of their education and future endeavors.

𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 | St. Ignatius Loyola Academy, Inc. recognized students during the Promotional Day on March 25, 2026 as they completed their respective grade levels and advanced to the next stage of their academic journey.
