NU Clark proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of our Computer Engineering students, Mr. Kerwwyn Gray Gonzalez, Mr. Vince Maglambayan, and Mr. Jerrell Andrei Dagoc, together with their coach, Engr. Marie Angeli Peñaflor, for representing our university at the Bach Khoa Innovation (BKI) 2026 in Vietnam.

Competing on the international stage, the team advanced to the Top 19 Finalists in the University Category and successfully reached the Grand Finals, where they showcased the Alpha Prototype of MobiCane. Through their in-booth pitching presentation, they highlighted the problem their innovation seeks to solve, its target market, and its business model, demonstrating both technical expertise and entrepreneurial thinking.

Their achievement reflects the innovation, dedication, and excellence that define the Nationalian spirit. Beyond the competition, this experience provided valuable international exposure and an opportunity to proudly represent NU Clark among young innovators from around the world.

September 21 marks the 54th Anniversary of the Declaration of Martial Law. The declaration that became one of the most significant events in Philippine history.

It was a turning point for the everyday lives of Filipinos, and has brought major changes and affected democratic institutions, press freedom, and civil rights. With the continuing years, the declaration remained intact in history along with the memories and experiences of the nation’s people.

On this 54th anniversary, we are remembering not just to preserve the historical record, but to also honor those who lived through them. We are not simply looking back, we are learning from the past and defending the people from what must not be forgotten.
