We create fine pieces with Filipino artisans, inspired by the traditions of our culture. The well-defined look showcases contemporary intertwined with heritage.

Filip + Inna is inspired by tradition creating distinct clothes which incorporate old custom weaving, embroidery, and beadwork all done by hand by different indigenous groups from all over the Philippines.

A closer look at the TINDA shirt 🪔

The TINDA shirt is a custom piece available for pre-order. The hand embroidered patches depict the different ā€œtindahansā€ common to the typical Filipino neighborhood. Each ā€œtindahanā€ has a name that can be customized as per the request of the client to create a truly personal piece.

I chose to name a fruit and vegetable stand in honor of my Papa because he loved to eat these. My mom loves to eat bread so she gets the bakery. My two doggies are also featured…. try to spot them! šŸ¶šŸ¤

We hope to see you at our Pop-Up Store in Greenbelt 5 opening on September 5, this Saturday!!

The TINDA shirt is a continuation of our PUROK series where we transform common sights in the neighborhood into wearable pieces.

The liveliness of a typical Filipino neighborhood is captured in the ā€œtindahansā€ hand embroidered by Iloilo artisans that were applied as appliquĆ©s on our Manila Shirt made of piƱa seda.

A delightful gift arrived at the Studio today from bespoke dolls by Shri ! We were introduced to Shiri by a friend who told us about the incredible work Shiri does, using scrap fabrics to create beautiful dolls ! This is Inna - it took her 13 hours to make, omitting the time taken to dye the hair and skin. Inna has beaded glass shoes plus a peineta, made out of a wooden fork dyed with iron water !!! This is so special, Shiri !!! Th
