sometimes our journey brings us to a place where faith seems to be all we have, yet we’re not sure what to do with all that we’re feeling. and sometimes, we just want ‘to be honest.’

we strive to follow God, yet we don’t always understand what’s happening.
we pray, yet sometimes the answers don’t come; we end up having more questions instead.

there are things we don’t always boldly speak of—the questions, doubts, disappointments, and struggles we carry quietly from Mondays to Fridays, after our voices were raised and our hands were lifted last Sunday. ❤️‍🩹

this September, it’s okay TBH.
we’re talking about the realness of our faith journey—the things we wrestle with, the things we rarely say out loud, and the things we sometimes only admit to ourselves.

let’s be honest about where we are, and together, let’s hear what the Word of God says in seasons like these.

we love the teachings of Jesus that comfort us. but what about the ones that confront us?

love your enemies.
deny yourself.
take up your cross.
give up everything.
choose Jesus above everything else.

these aren’t the teachings we get to pick and choose.

Jesus never called us to simply admire Him. He called us to follow Him—even when following Him is hard.
