This is one of the reasons why I competed again after 9 years 🥋

At DEFTAC MAKATI Brazilian Jiujitsu , we adhere to the philosophy "You will never train alone. You will never fight alone."

We want to show and set an example to our students that their coaches will go to war with them. We will not bark instructions from the sidelines, we will share the battlefield with you.

We are a community of doers. We talk the talk and we walk the walk.

Competing alongside my students in a world championship setting is an amazing feeling and I couldn't just let this opportunity pass me by.

Winning at the highest level is the cherry on top I didn't expect.

These are core memories we keep making at our academy. We practice what we preach. We build everyone up to become better human beings.

See you at our academy 📍 22 Jupiter st. Makati City

This is the best Bronze medal I've won so far 😁

When I saw my bracket was three pages, I told myself to just take it one match at a time and see where we end up. Each match was tough and I had a grand time going up against the best in the world. Ending in the podium was cherry on top to cap off my world championship stint.

Thank you Chief Alvin Aguilar for being in my corner as always. Couldn't have endured this without your wisdom, strategy, and guidance. Thank you to my brother JR Sha Casuga for cornering me as well and spotting the details I'm missing in each match.

Thank you tapcultureph for supporting me in this journey 🇵🇭

Thank you my ever loving and supportive wife Reese Ricafort Mojica

Thank you to all my training partners at DEFTAC MAKATI Brazilian Jiujitsu . You guys are the best!

Thank you everyone who appreciates what I do and supports me in this crazy journey of self discovery and self expression through martial arts.

I'm thankful, grateful, and happy 🙏🇵🇭

To be crowned the best among your peers is a feeling like no other. Thank you to my DEFTAC MAKATI Brazilian Jiujitsu family for having the best training environment. Thank you tapcultureph for your love and support.

Thank you Chief Alvin Aguilar for your guidance, teachings, and belief since day one. You always said I'm gonna be a world champion. You believed it more than I did and here we are now 🙇

Thank you to my ever supportive wife Reese Ricafort Mojica for taking care of me and telling me I've won even before everything started 💓

Thank you everyone who shared this moment with me. Not bad for a guy who hasn't competed in a while 😅

Now if you'll excuse me... I'm gonna put "World Champion" in my bio 🤪 lol
