Boracay Fire Sub Station personnel, under the guidance of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐎 𝐍𝐄𝐈𝐋 𝐀 𝐊𝐖𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐈𝐔, Bureau of Fire Protection Officer-in-Charge, conducted a Fire Truck Familiarization as part of their daily skills inventory and refresher training to enhance operational readiness, strengthen knowledge of fire apparatus, and ensure proficiency in the proper operation and handling of firefighting equipment during emergency response operations.
This refresher training strengthens operational readiness, enhances personnel safety, and promotes adherence to standard firefighting procedures. Through continuous skills enhancement, firefighters remain prepared to respond effectively, efficiently, and safely to any emergency.

Boracay Fire Sub Station personnel,under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐄𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐏 𝐕𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐒, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, and with the guidance of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐎 𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐋 𝐀 𝐊𝐖𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐈𝐔, Bureau of Fire Protection Officer-in-Charge, maintained a thorough overnight 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 from 2100H to 0500H to ensure uninterrupted monitoring within the station.
This initiative strengthened overall vigilance, enhanced internal security, and guaranteed that responders remained fully prepared to act swiftly in case of any emergency or unforeseen incident throughout the night.

This activity aimed to reach households and establishments to promote proper fire safety practices and emphasize the importance of preparedness in case of emergencies.

The Malay Fire Station received significant recognition for its exemplary service and commitment to disaster risk reduction and emergency response.

During the 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐩𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐠𝐚 (𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫) the Malay Fire Station was honored as the Most Supportive MDRRMC Member by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of the Municipality of Malay, Aklan. The award recognized the station's unwavering commitment, active participation, and invaluable support in disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness, response, and recovery efforts, as well as its strong collaboration with partner agencies in promoting the safety, resilience, and well-being of the Municipality of Malay.

In addition, 𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐀 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐕𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐳 𝐁𝐨𝐲 𝐏 𝐀𝐛𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧 were recognized for their outstanding performance, unwavering dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence during their participation in the 11th Aklan Provincial Rescuelympics 2026, held at the Aklan Sports Complex, Calangcang, Makato, Aklan, on July 2–4, 2026. Their commitment, teamwork, and exemplary service brought honor to the Malay Fire Station and reflected the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in emergency response and rescue operations.
