STRENGTHENING SCHOOL SECURITY AND PREPAREDNESS

From planning to preparedness, and from preparedness to action.

Following a series of coordination meetings, the LGU of Malay established a dedicated task force to further strengthen safety and security across our schools. This was followed by specialised training for LGU security personnel assigned to different schools, ensuring that they are equipped with the appropriate knowledge, skills, discipline, and readiness to respond to potential security threats and emergencies.

Now that our personnel have undergone the necessary training, we take another important step forward, the turnover of arnis and metal detectors to support them in carrying out their duties more effectively and responsibly.

Under the administration of Municipal Mayor Hon. Frolibar S. Bautista, the Municipality of Malay continues to invest not only in equipment, but more importantly, in the capability and preparedness of the people entrusted with keeping our schools and communities safe.

Safety is not the responsibility of one office, one task force, or one individual. It requires all of us, the LGU, schools, security personnel, teachers, parents, students, communities, and partner agencies working together with one purpose.

Let us work together for safer schools and a safer Malay.

Preparedness is our commitment. Service is our responsibility. And at the heart of everything we do is our love for Malay.❤️ for Malay!
