LOOK: 4Ps BENEFICIARIES TAKE PART IN HANDOG NG PANGULO JOB FAIR IN BORACAY

The DSWD Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) MOO Malay Team participated in the Handog ng Pangulo Job Fair held in Boracay, Malay, Aklan providing assistance and support to 4Ps beneficiary members who took the opportunity to apply for various available job vacancies.

The activity was facilitated by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Malay headed by Ms. Jona A. Solano, PESO Manager through the collaborative efforts of the Municipal Local Government Unit of Malay, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), private companies, and other partner agencies and stakeholders.

Another highlight of the activity was the Hired on the Spot achievement of a former 4Ps monitored child, showcasing how opportunities, education, and partnerships can open doors toward employment.

Throughout the activity, DSWD staff assisted 4Ps beneficiaries in navigating the application process and exploring available employment opportunities that may help improve their families' economic well-being.

LOOK: MOO MALAY TEAM JOINS FORCES FOR SET 14 VALIDATION IN BORACAY ISLAND

The MOO Malay Team joins forces in conducting the SET 14 Validation among identified households in Boracay Island.

The activity focuses on the validation of household data, verification of required information and documents, and assessment of eligibility for possible inclusion in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) subject to the prescribed guidelines and requirements.

LOOK: 4PS MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN BORACAY ISLAND-WIDE UNIFIED CLEARING & CLEAN-UP DRIVE

The 4Ps members of Barangays Manoc-Manoc, Balabag, and Yapak actively participated in the Boracay Island-Wide Unified Clearing and Clean-Up Drive Initiative led by the Municipal Local Government Unit of Malay under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Frolibar S. Bautista on September 12, 2026.

Together with other community stakeholders, our 4Ps members took part in the clean-up and clearing of areas within and surrounding their communities, helping maintain the cleanliness, safety, and beauty of Boracay.

Their active participation shows that 4Ps is more than a social protection program, it is also about empowerment, responsibility, and bayanihan.

The spirit of bayanihan and community participation continues as 4Ps members from different barangays across the Municipality of Malay actively joined community clean-up drive activities during the first week of September 2026.

Participating 4Ps members came from:

- Brgy. Cubay Sur – Ati Group
- Brgy. Manoc-Manoc – Ati Village

Through their collective efforts, our 4Ps members continue to show that small acts of service can create a cleaner, healthier, and more caring community. Their participation reflects the values of responsibility, cooperation, and bayanihan.

LOOK: MALAY TAKES THE REGIONAL STAGE AGAIN! ✨

MOO Malay took part in the Virtual Interview for the Best Convergence Action Team - 2026 Pantawid Hero Group Award representing the Province of Aklan at the regional level.

During the virtual interview, the Malay Convergence Action Team presented its programs, initiatives, accomplishments, and best practices, highlighting the collaboration among the Local Government Unit of Malay, DSWD programs, partner agencies, barangays, and community stakeholders.

The interview served as an opportunity to showcase how convergence and collective action translate into meaningful support and services for 4Ps families and communities. It also reflected the dedication and teamwork of everyone working together toward a common goals.
