LCUP BED SPORTS FEST 2026

September 21–25, 2026
La Consolacion University Philippines

“One Spirit, One Community, United in Veritas, Unitas, and Caritas.”

A week filled with faith, friendship, sportsmanship, teamwork, and unity! The LCUP Basic Education Department (BED) Sports Fest 2026 brought together our students from Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School in a meaningful celebration of sports, camaraderie, and the Augustinian spirit.

The Sports Fest provided our students with opportunities to showcase their talent, determination, discipline, and teamwork through exciting competitions in Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, Badminton, and Table Tennis.

A special highlight of the celebration was the Lighting of the Torch by the LCUP Student-Athletes, symbolizing the passion, determination, and unity of every athlete. This was followed by the Oath of Sportsmanship, reminding everyone that sports are not only about winning, but also about respect, discipline, humility, teamwork, and camaraderie.

Congratulations to all our student-athletes, players, and participants!

Whether you brought home a medal, represented your team with pride, or simply gave your very best in every game, your effort and participation made this Sports Fest truly meaningful. Every match became an opportunity to learn, build friendships, overcome challenges, and celebrate the gifts and talents God has given each one of us.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the LCUP Augustinian Sisters for their continued guidance, support, and commitment to the holistic formation of our students.

We also sincerely thank Sr. Niceta M. Vargas, OSA, PhD., University President; VPAA Dr. Jay Mark Santos; Prof. Ma. Jesusa C. Caparas, Director of Student Affairs and Services (SAS); and Dr. Rosalyn Galvez for their invaluable support, encouragement, and guidance in making the LCUP BED Sports Fest 2026 possible.

Our deepest appreciation also goes to BED Principal Sr. Evangeline B. Algaba, OSA, the BED Assistant Principals, administrators, teachers, coaches, game officials, staff, volunteers, and parents who worked together and continuously supported our students throughout the celebration.

Most especially, THANK YOU to all our LCUP BED students and student-athletes for your energy, enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and active participation. You truly made Sports Fest 2026 a celebration to remember!

More than the scores and medals, may we carry with us the lessons that sports have taught us - discipline in preparation, humility in victory, grace in defeat, respect for others, courage to face challenges, and the importance of working together as one community.

May this Sports Fest remind us that the greatest victory is not always found on the scoreboard, but in the friendships formed, lessons learned, character developed, and unity shared.

One Spirit. One Community. One LCUP Family.

United in Veritas, Unitas, and Caritas.

Congratulations, LCUP BED! Thank you for making Sports Fest 2026 a celebration of talent, teamwork, and the true spirit of sportsmanship!
