Step into Villa Valenzuela: Echoes of Tomorrow, is an exhibition where heritage, imagination, and contemporary interior design converge.

Discover how Benilde Interior Design students reinterpret the past to envision the spaces of tomorrow through thoughtful design explorations and immersive installations.

This exhibition features the works of Heritage of Philippine Interiors Preservation and Conservation students under the mentorship of IDr. Romulo Suyom Jr., IDr. Gregorio Saliba, and IDr. Jamila Basas as well as the Architectural Heritage class of Mr. Mapee Singson whose guidance has helped shape these creative journeys.

🏆🇵🇭 Benilde Interior Design Goes International!

From Benilde to the regional stage, we proudly celebrate Patricia Danielle Malijan, AYDA Philippines 2025 Gold Award Winner for the Interior Design Category, as she represents the Philippines at the AYDA International Finale in Bangkok, Thailand.

Patty’s winning project, “KAMPIHAN: A Community Space that Revives Culture and Legacy Through Intergenerational Play,” reflects the power of design to strengthen communities, preserve cultural heritage, and create meaningful connections across generations. Through thoughtful research, empathy, and innovation, her proposal demonstrates how interior design can become a catalyst for social impact and collective memory.

As she joins some of Asia’s most promising young designers on the international stage, she carries with her not only her vision and creativity but also the values of Filipino design excellence and the Benildean spirit of purposeful innovation.

Your Benilde Interior Design family is incredibly proud of you, Patricia. May your passion, hard work, and dedication continue to inspire future generations of designers.
