Pictures are not enough.

Kahit malinis tignan yung GPU, hindi mo pa rin alam kung stable siya under load.

Before buying a 2nd hand GPU, do your due diligence.

Ask for:

✅ GPU-Z screenshot
✅ Stress test footage
✅ Temperature reading under load
✅ Fan behavior
✅ Any signs of artifacts
✅ Any crashes or sudden shutdowns
✅ Actual photos of the card
✅ Ports, fans, heatsink, and backplate condition
✅ Seller warranty or testing agreement, if available

Hindi ibig sabihin nito guaranteed perfect forever yung GPU.

Used parts will always have risk.

But asking for proof helps reduce avoidable problems before buying.

A clean-looking GPU is good.

A tested GPU is better.

Mag-u-upgrade ka lang, magkakaroon ka pa ng problema?

Wag na lang sana.

Pero minsan, ganito talaga sa PC upgrades.

Hindi porket may bagong GPU, bagong PSU, or bagong parts, automatic smooth na agad lahat.

May times na pagdating sa actual game, doon lumalabas yung issue.

Shutdown.
Blue screen.
Driver conflict.
System instability.

That does not always mean sira agad yung bagong part.

Kaya important na hindi lang “nag-display” yung basis.

Check the error.
Check the drivers.
Check stability.

Test the actual game na gagamitin ng customer.

Kasi ang upgrade, hindi lang dapat gumagana sa desktop.

Dapat stable sa real use case.

That’s the difference between installed and actually ready.

This is not your typical setup.

Triple 1080p means the GPU has to render across three screens, which makes the workload much heavier than a regular single-monitor setup.

For this build, the RX 9060 XT 16GB made more sense because the setup needed more GPU and VRAM headroom.

This is why benchmarks are only a baseline.

PC won’t turn on? One quick way to check your PSU is the paperclip test.

This test helps confirm if the power supply can still start, but it does not fully prove that the PSU is healthy. A PSU can still fail under load or have unstable voltage even if the fan spins.

Use this as a basic first check. For proper confirmation, test with a PSU tester, multimeter, or a known working PSU.

Save this. You might need it later.

The 9800X3D won’t even save you from this.

A lot of people think a CPU upgrade automatically fixes low FPS.

Not always.

You could spend money chasing a faster processor and still end up disappointed.

Why?

Because the biggest problem isn't always the CPU.

In this case, the GT 710 is doing far more damage to the overall experience than the i5-9400F.

Even one of the fastest gaming CPUs available can't magically overcome a severely limiting GPU.

That's why the smartest upgrade isn't always the most powerful part.

It's the part that's holding the system back the most.

With an ₱8K–₱9K budget, fixing the weakest link first can often deliver a much bigger improvement than jumping to a new platform.

Before buying a CPU, ask yourself:

What's actually limiting my performance right now?

Because sometimes the upgrade you want isn't the upgrade you need.
