📢 IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR ALL BUREAU OF IMMIGRATION EMPLOYEES
In line with the Bureau of Immigration’s continuing commitment to promoting integrity, accountability, and gender-responsive governance in public service, all BI employees are REQUIRED to complete the Gender and Corruption (GAC) Self-Paced Course on or before 31 August 2026.
Please take note of the following:
🔹 Non-compliance: All employees who fail to complete the course within the prescribed period will be issued a Notice to Explain (NTE) by the Human Resource Development Division (HRDD).
🔹 Submission of Certificate of Completion: Upon completion of the course, employees are required to upload their Certificate of Completion as proof of compliance.
⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE: The first submission link has already reached its maximum submission limit. Accordingly, employees who have not yet submitted their Certificate of Completion are requested to use ONLY ONE (1) of the following links:

All concerned employees are encouraged to carefully review the instructions and comply with the prescribed procedures to facilitate the proper correction and issuance of their certificates.

As part of the Bureau's continuing capacity-building initiatives to strengthen communication competencies, the BI-Learning and Development Section (LDS), in partnership with the University of the Philippines Korea Research Center, is pleased to offer the In-Person Korean Language Program to qualified Bureau of Immigration (BI) personnel.

This is to reiterate the available 2026 TECO Scholarship programs:
1. Huayu (Mandarin) Enrichment Scholarship
2. Central Police University (CPU) Scholarship
3. Ministry of Education (MOE) Scholarship
Please be informed that TECO has extended the submission deadline for these programs.
Interested employees may send their application forms and supporting documents to [email protected] for monitoring purposes.
Regarding document processing at the Taiwan Embassy (TECO):
Metro Manila Applicants: You must process your documents directly at Immigration Attaché Ethan Tsai’s office .
Subport Applicants: You may submit your documents via the LDS email address. You will be notified if a personal appearance in Manila is required to complete processing at the Taiwan Embassy.
Please note that all submitted documents are subject to review and recommendation. These instructions are for strict compliance.

In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Learning and Development Section, in partnership with the BI-GAD Focal Point System, will conduct a Seminar on Republic Act No. 9710: The Magna Carta of Women.
This activity aims to raise awareness and strengthen understanding among BI employees on the provisions of the Magna Carta of Women.
Open to all BI employees
Limited to the first 200 registrants only
Interested participants may register by accomplishing the Google Form via the QR code/link on the poster on or before 13 March 2026.

The BI–Learning and Development Section, through its partnership with the Confucius Institute at the University of the Philippines Diliman (CI-UPD), recently held the Lunar Festival Cultural Exchange Activity last 20 February 2026 at the Philippine Immigration Academy in Clark, Pampanga.
The cultural exchange activity supports the Bureau’s language and cultural capacity-building initiatives for personnel undergoing the Mandarin Language Program and provides practical cultural exposure that complements formal instruction. The event also strengthens institutional collaboration between the BI and CI-UPD.
