Reorienting Leadership in the Age of Complexity: NextGenBHR 720-Degree Simulation

From 14–16 September 2026, students from across Asia gathered at the United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok for the NextGenBHR: 720-Degree Simulation, held as part of the UN Responsible Business and Human Rights (UNRBHR) Forum.

PRME Chapter ASEAN+ was pleased to be part of this initiative and to see students from our member institutions take part in the three-day simulation. The experience brought together future business leaders to engage with complex issues at the intersection of business, leadership, and human rights.

In the simulation, participants were asked to consider difficult business decisions in which organizational priorities, stakeholder interests, and human consequences were closely interconnected. The activity encouraged them to discuss trade-offs, consider different perspectives, and make decisions in situations where there was no single easy answer.

We are grateful to our partners: UNDP, BIAS Inc., Global Business School Network (GBSN), HEC Paris, and Sasin School of Management for making this meaningful learning experience possible.

For PRME Chapter ASEAN+, initiatives like this are an important part of preparing students to become more responsible, thoughtful, and socially aware leaders.

Call for Book Chapters: Responsible Management Education in the Global South.

PRME Chapter Africa and PRME Chapter ASEAN+ are pleased to share the Call for Book Chapters for the forthcoming edited volume:

Responsible Management Education in the Global South: Contexts, Innovations, and Future Pathways

The volume brings together scholars, educators, academic leaders, and practitioners to amplify perspectives from the Global South and showcase contextually grounded research and innovations in Responsible Management Education.

Submissions are invited in the form of empirical research, conceptual papers, practice-based chapters, case studies, teaching innovations, and policy perspectives across four key themes:

Contexts of RME in the Global South
Pedagogical and Curriculum Innovations
Leadership, Governance, and Institutional Transformation
Future Pathways of RME

The Global Social Impact Awards will recognize 12 visionary leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, organizations, and innovators advancing solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges—from climate resilience and education innovation to anti-human trafficking and humanitarian leadership.
