Ash and Ruth
Hello & Mabuhay! We're a Filipino-British couple. We travel and do adventures to add life to our years and document them through videos for posterity's sake.

After Boracay and Divisoria, come along with us as Sarah, a first time British visitor discovers more of the sights, flavors, fun, and hospitality of the Philippines in a couple of memorable adventures!
Our journey begins with a visit to the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) - a special place for us because we are both alumni. It was wonderful to return, reconnect with friends, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the campus.
From AUP, we headed to Tagaytay, one of the Philippines' popular destinations known for its cool atmosphere, beautiful scenery, and views of the spectacular Taal Lake and Taal Volcano.
🍲 FIRST STOP: MAHOGANY MARKET
Of course, no Tagaytay trip would be complete without food! We stopped at Mahogany Market for lunch and enjoyed one of the area's famous specialties - Filipino bulalo.
🎡 NEXT STOP: SKY RANCH TAGAYTAY
After lunch, the adventure continued at Sky Ranch! We enjoyed the rides, games, beautiful views, and plenty of laughs with Sarah and the young people in our group.
As the sun went down, the lights came on and the fun continued into the evening—with the beautiful Taal landscape providing an unforgettable backdrop.
💇♀️ AND THEN… A KOREAN SALON EXPERIENCE! 🇰🇷
But the adventure didn't end in Tagaytay!
Several days later, we also visited Bang's Prime Salon in Nuvali, Santa Rosa, Laguna, where Sarah and Ruth experienced a Korean salon right here in the Philippines.

What happens when a British girl visits the Philippines for the very first time… and we take her to Divisoria? 😱🛍️
After our Boracay trip, it's time for Sarah - our son's British girlfriend, for her first shopping adventure in Divisoria - a commercial centre in Manila in the Philippines famously known for its shops that sell low-priced goods and a haven for bargain hunters.
The centre has many different malls with bazaars, shops, restaurants and other business establishments. Around 700,000 people go to Divisoria daily.
It’s Sarah’s FIRST TIME shopping in Divisoria, and she quickly discovers just how much there is to see! From clothes, bags and shoes to accessories, household items, food and more, there seems to be something around every corner.
Join us on an exciting one-day adventure from Laguna to Manila as Sarah experiences some of the sights, sounds, food, transportation and shopping that make Metro Manila so unique.

We need to be brave enough to leave our comfort zone if we want to discover new opportunities. Sometimes, we have to let go of what feels safe to achieve something greater.
